Not only that, the Red Bike appears as well. Though the big difference is the uniforms for the younger girls are for his school and not what the anime has shown them in so far.

if i had to bet, they probably all transferred into the school to go after him when all was said and done.

Oretsuba 11 - Birdemic: Shock and Terror

I have no idea why I'm so attracted to the concept of wings. Most of the VNs in my wishlist involve the motif in some way. Perhaps that's why I was drawn to this series. Apparently I've been a little off this whole time. Takashi - or should I say, Hawk Cyanblue, Fancy Man of Gretgard -'s fantasy wasn't based on LotR or D&D at all, but rather a variation of Dragon Quest. It's Japan, of course DQ would be involved.

That said, aside from having one of the most destructive forms of the power of love I've seen, the ending to this episode was actually pretty touching. Like most of the VNs I've touched, it still has an idealistic core at its heart. Asuka knows that having dreams and fantasies are alright, as long as you let them inspire your reality, and not overtake them. The idea that so many people recognize Takashi is kind of charming in its own way, too. He might not have been himself, but the threads of the stories told through Yanagihara all encircle back to him.

Now there's the matter of prying our Lost Ankh out of this birdcage. I'm looking forward to it.

ISH stands for Inner Self Helper, it's part of theoretical MPD studies, and it's supposed to be a personality that exists within people afflicted with MPD that acts as the 'helper agent' to sort of manage and control things to help them live their life and get healthy.

Basically one of the 'twists' of the game/anime was that the entire story was from the point of view of 'you', and that you were the ISH personality inside them that helped them get better. I guess it works better in the game since you actually have choices and stuff but whatever.

The VN from the train is Sekai Seifuku Kanojo, from Navel, of course. Art also from Nishimata. The writing was done by Higashi Nosuke who was the sub-writer for Oretsuba.

The names make that....rather obvious. A prelude comes before, an after story comes after.

Prelude contain stories that follow Asuka, Miyako, and Misaki, each one taking place on the same day, about a year prior to the events of the main game. It also contains a little Karuo side story.

After Story takes place pretty much immediately after the events in each Oretsuba end. Though some of the protagonist's stories from the main game have epilogues that skip quite a bit of time, so most of the stories in After Story technically takes place in the time between the ending and the epilogue from the main game.

Yeah, and it was interesting. I thought it would have been boring, but it fascinated me far more than watching the 1-7 episodes week by week.

Spoiler for episode 12: I liked the final episode, they generally just stuffed in some of the highlights from the Youji chapter, can't really expect more from just one episode. Only using the first 8 minutes for Youji's childhood explanation, but generally getting the point across. I like how they kept the use of children's pictures to tell the story. Got a kick of out putting in the 恋する乙女と書いてストーカと読みます line for Youji to use on Morisato as a joke, and Youji's signature Morisato infatuation and denial of being a lolicon or siscon. Misaki also got a short little scene, which left me overjoyed, she's one of my favorite characters(Misaki is Takashi's stalker, you can actually see her in the background at a few points in the series if you look for her) On an unrelated note, I really like her theme song too http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qvbKwcxyOm4 Some details were cut out, particularly of interest, I thought, Spoiler for information from the game left out of the anime: was how they cut out that Youji's dad was a member of Fricky 5, Yo-kun(I don't recall if the anime makes it clear that he was Shuusuke's favorite member of the band) and his mother were in a relationship before she got dumped and became a desperate stalker, saw her own son as Yo-kun. It was implied that she even had sex with him on occasion(Though obviously I can understand that particular part being cut from the anime.) It takes away an interesting element of why Shuusuke is such a big fan and how it kind of goes deep into the psychology of this stuff, a branched off personality developing Fricky 5 fandom based on the murky involvement of them to their childhood and all. Obviously the reason the mother hated seeing Kobato and Youji together was because she saw Youji as Yo-kun and Kobato as the person he dumped her for. Also, I don't think they touched upon Youji's time in the mental facility and how Garuda/Karuru's personality developed, though maybe more astute individuals can theorize how Karuru was born given the present information.

Kobato is really the true story heroine. The main girl or main core story. Ah it looks like the mother survived but I'm not sure what happen because I can't understand much. The flashback shown and the colored kid sketches showing the past. Great Use of medium to portray the story. Quite unique itself and charming. Showing that the story is way back when they are still children. I'm utterly speechless and liked it. Totally different from Hoshizora that makes me go rage rage with bad end for Madoka. Is Yoshikawa the misaki your talking about? ... but she said Akira... but she said Onii-san.... so maybe it's her or not. I'm not sure on what happen but it looks like the 4 become one with Youji. The final part haven't had any face changes anymore. Well the other personality have become one so there is no need to change face. And it looks like he reveal his problem to the other. Youji clearly said his not lolicon and not siscon but Alice goes bam bam and made my day. AHH AHH AHH!!!! So the green haired girl is Misaki right!? right!? I saw her in the op of the game but she showcase in the anime but still she given screen time in the anime. Btw in the banner at the train. It looks like a vn game. Anyone know what the name of that game? OOTORI WAS REALLY A SUPER SISCON!!!! REVEALED BY THE CROW and YOUJI is the mater in SISTER MOE WORLD Wait... wait wait wait!!!! Youji called Morisato and it looks like Morisato knew of the multiple personalities though not sure. But Youji called him friend so maybe they knew each other from the past? but Morisato also said Phoenix told him about the details.... or maybe Ootori, Youji and Morisato knew each other from the past? BL BL BL BL??? ( > < ) Yanagihara flame birds!!! though the other girls was left behind or rather Asuka was left behind to beat the crap out of Youji to switch with his Takashi even though Takashi won't show up again because they all merge into one. Youji was under constant observation by stalking Asuka The ending for a certain girl was left behind but the other girl still lingers around. Just no conclusive romantic ending. ISH? what's that? or did I get that wrong? The episode 1 was really the ending with a real uniform and school for girls and real reaction. Asuka, Neru? Naru? and Hiyoki are still lacking than moe Kobato. Even Asuka commented on how CUTE Kobato is. hahaha what a wonderful ending indeed. __________________ To A certain Lonely Hero

The witch girl was talking way to fast for me to end HOPE of understanding what they said. But I am still surprised the writer girl has the same uniform as Haneda. That's a bit much that she hasn't spoken to him in school (Not that I understood a WORD she said). Poor Bike girl. What was the reference about Meat in there? The first episode was so random and hard to understand, but by the end, practically all of the mysteries were explained and had me going "Oh, so that's what that meant..." I had my doubts, but phew... I guess the main con is that it felt kind of rushed? Anyways, perhaps 12 episodes wasn't enough. It felt like some of the side characters really lacked screentime and character development and their reason of existence is in question. What was that guy's name... Platinum? He seriously lacked screentime. Codain kawaii yo Codain. The last part also felt kind of rushed, but for some reason, it still felt satisfying. Like, even though the anime ended, it didn't leave me feeling something was missing... Like Star Driver did. Great OP, good ED, characters were usually interesting, story was surprisingly good.
