ummm, from what i remember from watching StrikerS, there was a point when Teana had to dodge one of Deed's attacks via back flipping which revealed what color it is in her Barrier Jacket form. now if you consider it casual clothing or even her uniform, then yes....it's an atrocity that it isn't orange.

It's the TV version, then. The DVD version of that scene is probably drawn better.

Time to store away my money and when they plan on releasing the second movie, I'm going to Japan and watching the movie over 9000 times.

edit: though I just did the math and that would mean watching the movie everyday nonstop for 2 years, lol. I have the stamina for it, though I don't know if they'll show it that long, lolz.

Don't TV versions usually have a "water mark" in one corner that shows the station doing the broadcast?

That's not the best screen shot, it's in a shadowy area. I was mainly looking for a scene where she had her head turned, similar to the pose of the figure, for head size comparison.

It may look a little soft, but that's barely noticeable when the video is playing. I can watch this on my 37" HDTV, and for scaled up standard definition, it looks surprisingly good. And I'm fairly picky about image quality. Of course, the more HD I watch, the more difficult it becomes to accept "minimal quality."

Maybe I need to go look and see if I can find a better version of StrikerS.

As far as I know, yesy never did DVD versions. The DVD version of StrikerS were released under the name of Coldlight, which just used the subs from other groups on the DVD raws.

You must watch the DVD version of StrikerS. StrikerS was so full of QUALITY in its TV run, it was actually rather horrible. The DVD features a lot of scenes redrawn and it looks so much better.

not to mention that it has complete transformation scenes, although the only ones worth mentioning are Nanoha and Fate.

i'm on my 4th run of the series, more specifically the Teana arc in Vol 3 of StrikerS (a copy of the legit version that i bought since i can't play R2 DVDs on the PS3......thank goodness for same region Blu Rays). the more i watch the series, the harder it gets to rewatch Nanoha 1st without thinking about how cool it would be to see the movie of it.
