Here's one I've been using on the job a couple of times:

"It doesn't have to look good, it just has to work,... Y'know, like me!"

This world, this theatre of pride and wrong,
Swarms with sick fools who talk of happiness.
With plaints and groans they follow up the quest,
To die reluctant, or be born again.
At fitful moments in our pain-racked life
The hand of pleasure wipes away our tears;
But pleasure passes like a fleeting shade,
And leaves a legacy of pain and loss.
The past for us is but a fond regret,
The present grim, unless the future ’s clear.
If thought must end in darkness of the tomb,
All will be well one day—so runs our hope.
All now is well, is but an idle dream.

- Voltaire, Passage from 'Examination of the Axiom, “All is Well"', written in the wake of the natural disaster in Lisbon in 1755.

"Religion is a totalitarian belief. It is the wish to be a slave. It is the desire that there be an unalterable, unchallengeable, tyrannical authority who can convict you of thought crime while you are asleep, who can subject you to total surveillance around the clock every waking and sleeping minute of your life, before you're born and, even worse and where the real fun begins, after you're dead. A celestial North Korea. Who wants this to be true? Who but a slave desires such a ghastly fate? I've been to North Korea. It has a dead man as its president, Kim Jong-Il is only head of the party and head of the army. He's not head of the state. That office belongs to his deceased father, Kim Il-Sung. It's a necrocracy, a thanatocracy. It's one short of a trinity I might add. The son is the reincarnation of the father. It is the most revolting and utter and absolute and heartless tyranny the human species has ever evolved. But at least you can fucking die and leave North Korea!"

"Death is not a hunter unbeknownst to its prey; one is always aware it lies in wait. Though life is merely a journey to the grave, it must not be undertaken without hope. Only then will a traveler's story live on, cherished by those who bid him farewell."

I don't usually post quotes, but what the hell. Here are some I love.

From the Dude De Ching:

Because he does not put himself over the line, he does not enter a world of pain.
Based on this passage of the Tao Te Ching:

Because he does not serve his Self, he is content.
Another one I like:

When the goddamn plane has crashed into the mountain,
Fucking fascists will take over the beach communities.
Based on:

Normal? What's normal? To only do what the masses do? And what is the benefit of that? Where is the problem in adopting a custom that is 'abnormal' if it has no negative effect on the world at large?

The problem is that deviant behaviour/ attitudes / ideas do have a negative effect on the world at large: They threaten to disintegrate social groups (masses) by undermining the behaviour/ attitudes/ ideas they all share and which they have established as ethical norms. That is the negative effect for these people. And they will have the power to retaliate against any such perceived attack, be it informally or formally/ legally.
