I still think that it is because there is no stock problem. They are more prepare this time. But I really don't care since they are the same series.

Does Hanekawa look better in the left frame than the right? (Shaft screwed up?)

That's exactly what I thought too, when I saw it.

Those frames were redone for the sake of consistency of her skirt (& sleeve).

This figure is only for limited edition, right? What's about normal edition?

70,595 - Hitagi Crab (BD+DVD) 6th week
63,407 - Mayoi Snail (BD+DVD) 2nd week

Details. Interesting result, if you compare Mayoi's second week to Hitagi's fourth week.

While I'm very glad that Bakemonogatari is doing so well, I don't think that its full marketing potential is realized at this point. It probably have nothing to do with the studios themselves, but it's very obvious that if Bakemonogatari start merchandising like Haruhi, Lucky Star, or K-ON, it's very possible that the revenue might increase 3-4 folds.

But whether mass merchandising like that is a desirable circumstance for the fans is a debatable subject.

Why not? The fans that would buy series merchandise get what they want, the studio/sponsors make money, everyone wins.
