Finally a release date!

October 20, well that's the release date for the new Hybrid Pack, and like the last one it will contain the movie and a PS3 game in the same Bluray disc, more info here:New Macross Hybrid Disc Due for PS3

Logically the normal movie DVD/BD will come out the same day like last time.

My friend made an interesting point regarding the movie and I just thought it would be worth sharing. She goes how the movie partly plays on "what-ifs". Like, "what if in the 24-esque scene, it had been Ranka and not Sheryl?," as well as "what if Ranka was more mature than in the series?". In a way, it kinda answers how even if roles were (sort of) reversed, it would still end the same (on the romance front at least).

Kinda like how DYRL still had Hikaru choose Misa even when Minmay actually loved him back.

That's that! I just thought it was interesting...
