What bothers me the most about the reviews is that they are like "DMC4 was bad after all guys." Really? DMC4 was awesome. It my not be better than DMC3 Special Edition but the possible combos with Dante and Nero were mindblowing.

Fact it has no lock on button which all the original DMC games have which 'causes problems when doing special moves on certain enemies.

In other words, this shit is really bad.

Not by much, all three of them had good review scores in general.

However, one of those three doesn't have a large fan support nor does it have sales support.

I thought he was referring to the game as a whole. The original DMCs are mountains above this game (except probably for DMC2. It may just be hills above

Sorry I meant critics wise :/. I really should proofread before hitting the submit button.

I meant DmC is slightly above DMC4 and DMC3 but below DMC3 SE and DMC on metacritics despite having the entire gaming press on it's side. Was trying to be funny by stating useless facts.

Sales wise they wish that they at least had OG DMC 3 numbers lol.

It's kind of funny how even Capcom already did a better PC version of a Devil May Cry than DmC. I mean, look at all those demons attacking Nero. I think it's even better than 60 frames per second.

Capcom making a new Devil May Cry..."Scoff"s. After the whole DmC thing I pretty much lost faith in Capcom being able in creating an amazing Devil May Cry game. Oh DmC, how it still continues to piss me off!!!

Seriously, give the series back to Kamiya-sensei or Platinum games; there problem solved. Anyone else remember or played and enjoyed MGR... because I have!

Anyways, does Capcom really have the means to even make new games or IPs now considering the financial hold they're in?

its more they hated what they did with it, its far to dark and gritty for a devil may cry game, and what they did to vergil and dante is what people hated and some where along the line it lost what made devil may cry devil may cry and it wasn't in the gameplay, and honestly Metal Gear Revengeance was more devil may cry than dmc was.

DmC's gameplay felt pretty shallow to me. The lack of lock-on in an action-based game was a huge turnoff.
