Glad SS-Eclipse took this on. After just barely finishing Hayate, I'm immediately launched into more wackiness. The voice cast is great, though it might take me awhile to adjust to Ryou Hirohashi as Hyouka. Hearing Tama's voice coming out of the Black 13th is a bit weird. Other than that, looks like an excellent show.

I love the show so far (starting to love the robot too)
but Im hoping this doesn't turn into another fan-service show . it reminds me of Seto..and seto was great because it was humorous but not full of ecchi/fan-service.

i've never read the novels but i wouldn't think they'd have much in the way of fan-service. but im hoping the show doesn't either

Discovered as a baby in the underground empire, Shangri-la, and was raised and revered as "Enka's Child". She thinks she's a god, and her personality is quite out there.
Her special traits are the cat ears and tail that are on her for some reason.
Looks like a young girl, but she drinks sake and smokes tobacco and says, herself, that she is 20.
Holds the special ability to unleash waves to directly talk to others by mind, and a "cell phone" that can intervene and manipulate sense organs.
Also, she has body abilities that surpass human intellect.

Well... that explains her madman-like attitude... -_-

Empire of Japan Supernatural Phenomenon Counter-Measure Department Counter-Measure Section One Mobilization Commanding Officer. 27 years old. Was forcibly made to participate in the "Harmonious Family Plan".
Losing both parents at the age of three due to an accident, he has lost all memories of before then. After that, he was raised by the Supernatural Phenomenon Counter-Measure Department.
Has a level and calm personality, and as the commanding officer for the Counter-Measure Department, is experienced with the treatment of weapons and the art of self-defense, and can quickly counter dangers.
But, he is constantly abused by the actions of his wife, Kyouka.

As far as a person belonging to the Midarezaki family, her outer appearances are that of a normal girl's. 9 years old. Third year in elementary school. Real name is Himemiya Reiko.
Born in the Himemiya family, who are praises all kinds of wars and crimes and invests and uses them to earn fortunes.
The Himemiya family is a clan of demons that would even kill their parents and siblings, and in all of them, Yuuka is called the "Isolated Doll" by her family and abused by them.
Personality is gentle and kind, and is happy to be a member of the Midarezaki family.

loved ep one,
really crazy
kyouka gives an haruhi vibe(on speed, LSD, and some more) and i like ouka as well, he doesn't seem like a wuss and shows that he is pretty capable(with the robot child for example) so he is pretty cool, he ain't as cynical as kyon but he is still pretty nice as a main male lead..

hope it can keep up (and not get repetitive, as it would suck to have everything happen over and over again.. ) and theres no reason so far for it not to keep up..
will be waiting for ep2 to have some more info

Ayumi Fukimura was pretty awesome as Kyoka, looking at her roles on ANN it seems like she's only been around for 1-2 years. She's also playing my fav character in Nabari in Raimei!

Well that was a pretty crazy first episode. Ouka has my condolences . With a 'wife' like Kyouka will need every bit of the training he's been given in order to survive. First objective is to make sure she never cooks....ever again. Don't think the human stomach could handle that kind of thing for very long.

I'm wondering if Kyouka came to the scene to save Ouka or just to make a big display. Probably part of each. Oh well the day was survived so its a good thing. Though I wonder how many more of the games we'll see. Where if Ouka wins he gets nothing, but if he losses its just not a positive result . Still looks like he and Teika might get along even if he is a lion. Plus Yuka is a nice person though clearly with a troubled past that will be addressed sooner or later.

Overall a pretty crazy first episode. Should be a lot of fun to follow.

Hell, this is one of a sick anime for now, I really hope it continues that way and doesn't disapoint on halfway through the show. I confident, tho I hope I won't turn mad cause of Kyoka ^^
