Wrong. There are way more 3DS systems out there than Wii U's, there's no way it would've been more successful. No way at all.
Also, a preliminary judgement like that is kinda premature, as we don't really know anything yet. At least wait till we know more to make such a claim.
They said they won't make a console core pokemon game, because they've made it clear that it's better as a handheld, and they're right.
A game on the console would've just been like coliseum or something, and those games were pretty bad.

The N64 Stadium games were great. they were great as standalone games but also enhanced your experience of the handheld games. I don't know what they were thinking with Colosseum.

Well, I think the answer is pretty easy, actually...

I just found out that PSP Vita fans on GameFAQs are panicking because Nintendo is on a roll especially since they just announced Pokemon. It was kinda funny seeing threads like "Is Pokemon the end of Vita?" and the like. Lol.

I never knew that Vita was not doing well though. Here where I live, the people prefer a PSP/Vita over a DS because many think that "Nintendo is for kids". >.<

And yes, Belly drum + Aqua jet Azumarill. I want it.

Nintendo published Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge, saying they're for kids is pretty dumb.

I hope we get a Bug/Dragon, what Flygon was probably meant to be. Hmm, maybe a Steel/Ghost, Psychic/Ghost (in before, but that will make them ultra weak against dark types, well, if I have to suffer for having a Leavanny that's 4 times weak against fire, LET THEM SUFFER MY PAIN TOO!), a Grass/Ghost sounds good too, too bad Banette already took the idea of a voodoo doll more or less. Rock/Ghost, Dark/Psychic, Flying/Fighting, Dragon/Fighting (Goku FTW!) and that should about cover what's been missing, help me out if I missed anyone.

One important thing is the connection between Gen 5 games and Gen 6. Like, will we be able to send our Pokemon over? (we better be able to)
How about items?

Since it is the 3DS, which hasn't been hacked yet, people won't be able to hack the game, cheat, or figure out how to control the RNG?

And...
Carnivine needs to be allowed to learn Sucker Punch. It's a Venus Flytrap, for geez sakes. It only makes sense that it can Fuiuchi/Take the opponent by surprise!

It's a phase in life. A past Nintendo research showed that in only the 13-17 age area did more people prefer Sony's game consoles over Nintendo's.
Then they grow up and realize "Nintendo is for everyone", not just kids.

As far as the PSP and Vita goes... Well... If they are panicking now, they are way too late to the party.

Hey Von Himmel, and everyone else that said that Norse Mythology, although possible, was probably a bit far off from the origin of Xerneas and Yveltal, check this out. http://www.kimikogaming.net/pokemon-...endary-dragon/, I'd say this is a pretty good find.

That's a really good find. I didn't know that the yggdrassil mythology has deer and eagle in it... I do know about the snake though because of Jormungand anime

Now I'm more convinced that the basis of the story is indeed will be similar to this norse mythology.

I missed out on Black/White (and I'm now reading that there was a Black 2 and White 2, so I guess that was missed as well?), but I may make a return to the franchise for this, depending on what I think of the world and plot. I'd really like them to make a more engaging plot; the first few gens had that charming ambiguous old school RPG thing going on, but the world has always felt like it could be home to a more intensive story than what we end up getting. Pokemon Platinum (last one I played) seemed like it was leaning towards wanting to flesh out the in-game lore a bit, but it felt very standalone and unconnected to the games that came before it in terms of explaining legendaries, the world itself, etc. I'd like a game that does some tying together of plot points and maybe a bit more serious atmosphere for the backstory. Then again, perhaps what I really want is for Pokemon to grow up as I have so I can be immersed in it like I was as a kid, so I might be hoping for too much. Pokemon with a more intense plot does sound pretty cool though even if I attempt to remove my nostalgia goggles.

Were Black/White and Black/White 2 fun from a plot perspective? Now I'm contemplating wasting my money and buying them lol.
