I just only got through the new intro just now, and I noticed a something peculiar.
Spoiler for New Intro Observation:
Edit: Episode 15 was interesting. However, why did 7th leave Yuno alive? Also, how did Yuki survive a fall that high falling head-first? Ok, nevermind, I just need to shut off my brain. The ending was quite interesting. Yuno in a desolate world by herself. It makes me wonder if she is actually from another dimension, surviving on her own for quite some time. How else does it explain her incredibly insane moves?

^ About the colours... these are the three main characters with a diary (yes Minene is a main, however unpopular she might be in some tiny corners of our world), Aru is the fourth main, but no diary... obviously you don't won't to get spoiled with other possibilities, right?

It was good to see Yuno being back to being crazy awesome instead of just crazy.
Actually, it's interesting to see her play out. The average cheap-model yandere is "crazy in love," in that she has an outrageous sense of moral values that are all twisted around the concept of possessing her love interest (either by killing rivals for his affection or targeting him directly for imprisonment, "if I can't have you, no one will," etc. Yuno goes a step beyond that, since she's on one level quite aware of reality and manipulating it ("you can go on pretending to be my boyfriend"), on another twisted in the standard yandere way ("Yukki praised me!") and on yet another she's genuinely delusional, rewriting reality in her own mind enough that she genuinely doesn't remember certain events sometimes (such as with the corpses in her home).

i finally got around to watching the 1st episode of Mirai Nikki.
When i first heard the voice of the male protagonist Yukiteru I thought hey he sounds like a girl and based on myanimelist.net he is being voiced by a girl. I don't get why they chose a girl to voice Yuki and I kinda dislike Yuki voice. And my phone looks exactly like Yuki phone. I should post a pic of it Last edited by gonzo562; 2012-01-29 at 00:12. |

Good job again this week, but I'm despairing of ever seeing the 10th's omake animated.
It's also a bit toned down from the manga on a few key plot points, which this time around I think is a change for the worse (but only the tiniest bit). |

I enjoy this anime so much and the last episode was so good. The plot and pace of the anime continues to impress me. I was hoping someone could clear something up for me. I noticed this anime is under the category of Shounen. I consider a lot of the material to be that of seinen since morality plays a big part and there is romance involved. Thank you to anyone that clears this up for me.

I just finished watching episode 16...... what a cliffhager. I said it in the past, but mirai nikki has such a splendid hollywood feeling about it. Hahaha, catching falling people in mid air and completely defying the laws of physics is fun to watch.
Anyways, if I had to chose the illogic of the week, I would have to ask, why is Yukki still hospitalised, if he can do pushups, chinups and run up the hill? He looks to be in the perfect condition to me. Otherwise a nice episode for most part. I enjoyed the slice of life feeling as well as the comedy. I totally love Maru and Ai, they are such a crazy love couple, hell it was even nice to see Uryuu again. I loved the scene where Yuno went into her wacko mode and tried slicing up Yukkis dad.... and that loser didnt even notice, hahaha I thought it was realy smart of the gang to make Yukki believe they have a "secret plan" and effectively leaking this information to the 7th. By doing so they made sure that the 7th couple doesnt destroy the cellphones, because they need to know how to defend themselves against that secret plan. At this point, I would like to point out though, how Uryuu, the police guy and the wanna be detective started running Yukkis and Yunos life. Slowly oh so slowly they sneaked into Y&Y lives and took over deciding for them. It is not Yukki anymore who decides what he is going to do with his cellphone (if he still had it)... no no, it is the others making those decisions for him. Yukki seriously, you gotta man up, even Yuno is 100x manlier than you. Oh.... and how abou the ending? Did anybody get it? Why would the 7ths want Yukkis dad? Either I failed to understand something here, or it will be revealed in the next episode. I am also curious, what will happen to the "mother" diary owner now that she has been arrested. |
