What, a girl likes books, hates shallow dudes, is an introverted bookworm, can "see through the external to see the good inside" -- basically the dream girl of half the world's male population, and 99% of this board's -- and suddenly she's got -- whatever the hell she's supposed to have? And Ariel, well, she's an anthropologist and a bit of a human otaku. If they want a funnier hoarder example they could have used...oh, the entire dragon species in Western fantasy maybe, starting with Beowulf. This post was made with a seriousness ratio of 15% |

Cracked is basically a huge timesink of amusement... but as Irenicus notes, not all the articles are that well thought out or written... or perhaps the author was simply straining to connect dots that don't really connect.
Most of the time the lists are pretty amusing/disturbing/depressing.

Come to think of it, quite true isn't it? The GOP are looking to inhale the soul of living Americans, while the Democrats wanted to suck their people dry.

I’m Under Arrest for What? Fifty Bizarre U.S. Laws
Most of them are stupidly hilarious. But I agree with this one: Hawaii All residents may be fined for not owning a boat. Well... they are in a vulcanic area. They need a boat to escape when the lava enter their living room.

Some of them are silly indeed, or just blatantly obvious. In addition to the two above, I like:
