Oooh, I understand. The repeated use of "you poor one" wasnt so justified, but in Shinku's defense, at least she wasnt saying it purposely or trying to anger Gin? I say this because I believe that she really didnt like seeing Gin in that state:

This was when Gin was hugging her. I like to think that the pity she felt was at least real. (but, yeah, pity is bad - then again, Gin was in a somewhat pitiful state - tho repeating that pity over and over is worse)


This was when Gin disappeared into the ground. I dont think Shinku enjoyed it.

Also, while Shinku could have been more tactful when breaking the "news" that Gin "couldnt" become a RM to her, at least Shinku did not expressly teach Gin to walk just so Gin could meet father, i.e. she didnt purposely say or intent: "I'm teaching you to walk so you can meet father" (or did she? Remember, I know no Japanese. ). All along, it was Gin's desire to meet father that led Gin along. Anyhow, I guess thats the reason for Shinku's sad expression when Gin hugged her.. Shinku thought that Gin could not meet father.

oh and that scene just before gin whent crazy...i think it was due to shinku's disbelief tht gin has become a RM doll by recieving a rosa mystical from father...but whats not to believe? this caused gin to think that shinku is jealous of her recieving something from rozen and that sparked off the war as gin aimed to take something precious away from shinku...

Oh btw, did anyone else noticed that Suigintou had red eyes instead of magenta eyes? at least it's quite apparent in the second part of the special, especially at times when she was learning to walk and 9:27 also 17:05...looks like her eyes changed due to time or due to hate or something like that?

Well, it's obvious that her pupils went from round (like the rest of the dolls) to thin and diamond-shaped (as we know her) when she turned her back on Shinku. I'm not sure if her eyes' coloration is meaningful or staff mistake.

yeh, just snagged a pair of free eyes from somewhere to fit her mood oh well, I like the magenta eyes better but the red and round ones weren't bad either. Wasn't her eyes supposed to be red in the manga tho? maybe it was some sort of reference or summat? oh well, her eyes were the right colour in ending and opening and when she was in Souseiseki's N-field (then again, everything was a bit tinted in purplish colour)

lol well tbh i think most of us can pretty much understand the RAW even without the subs ~ its wasnt that hard to make out the story line of betrayal ~

Ooh.. yes.. the fansub credits go to an anonymous of 4chan. Heh. Hmm, its an acceptable work if you're in want of a quick fix for Ouverture. Tho, its plagued with sub-standard encoding and timing, lack of proper capitalisations and punctuations at places, choice of words that could be improved and more typos than should be present. But, yeah, language is understandable. (basically, its in need of a good QC pass). But beggars (me) can't be choosers!

WTH. At their first meeting, Shinku knew Gin to be the "one left on the shelf." Well, this would explain the biasness with which she approached the issue of Gin being a RM. But it leaves more questions; namely: how did Shinku know? Could Father have told her?

Well, I saw it and what I was fearing when I saw the famous "Gin and Shinku having tea together" picture, happened, we were given an other "Good friends who became deadful enemies" (even if some sequences were cute) .Com'onPeach Pit !!! Is that all you could find ?! That eternal refrain that we can see at least twice a year in animes ? (and I'm only talking about anime).

So almost the whole thing sound wrong to me... except the first scene, beautiful but cruel and incredibly sad, desu and the last minutes with Gin and Shinku unleashing their power... and anger.

Indeed I'm a Shinku fanboy who will try to take her favourite Queen's defence but... considering that she was the only one who recieved a special gift from Rozen (the broch), no wonder that she started to act like the "father's favourite".
But we saw that when she was with Gin, she did not act like the noble lady she uses to. More simple, more gentle and care taking (not only about Gin but also Sarah)... and THAT is Shinku....

I'm a bit pissed off that, once again, nothing is said about him... so let's wait for the 3rd season... so let's wait until Peach Pit decide to move their ass and start to draw "a bit" more than 2 vols a year... because I don't think that people who are xorking on the anime will try to write something that important by themselves.
So... let's wait until next Winter... if god wants it.
