Why isn't anyone thinking about Ku Fei when Chao is obviously down the line?

Anyway, it's not that bad for Asuna shippers. Negi still loves her, even if it's familial love. Being onee-chan is second best next to being his lover.

Ku Fei is possible, but I'm pretty sure using Chao as the example for that is...misleading.

As for Negi x Asuna, I'd recommend going to Negima!? Neo.

Asuna coming back was pretty obvious from the end of chapter 352 that I didn't even care.

I also think that its either Yue, Chisame, or Eva, assuming that Asuna doesn't know the formers' feelings for Negi. But at this point, I wouldn't mind seeing some ridiculous choice for the lulz. Theres only 2 chapters left anyhow, lets make this interesting, KA! XD. Heck, all I'm hoping is that we get to know his choice, I'm not expecting anything else.

Cons: Nodoka ship taking on water. Nodoka X Yue X Negi even less likely. STILL NO EXPLANATION ABOUT QUEEN ARIKA.

Will settle for Chachamaru. I hope it's not Chisame, I hate it when the biggest jerk in the series gets rewarded for her jerk-ass behavior. (I don't care how much she cares for him on the inside if her default expression is 'anger and violence'.)

Yeah, Anya, Haruna, Yuuna, Chizuru the anal molestor, and several others are way above Chisame in the ranks of series' jerkiness.

Chisame is one of the few who can and do hold Negi back when he's about to do something really stupid. He needs people like her and Asuna around, who can save him from himself, while someone far more passive like Nodoka or Chachamaru would just stay back never challenging his will.

Before we continue on this path any further, might I suggest that we define "jerk" down to the detail? We can't just go around and call people jerks like that. I disagree that Chisame is a jerk but to say that Chizuru is one is a different can of beans.

The "blank page" thing doesn't give me much hope we'll get a choice. It's been a fun ride, but I'm not getting my hopes up for a good ending. I've been burned by too many other series.

After reading some messages on the Negima TVTropes forum I've now developed a fear that Negi actually whispered Asuna's name to her in the latest chapter and then she covered it up by pretending he said someone else's name. Of course this maybe just me being paranoid.

Mreh, the shy girl who first fell in love getting the guy ain't exactly original either. If Akamatsu really wants to pull out the surprise he's going to pick someone we barely even consider as a ship.
