Well... the location of where Spirits shows up (and consequently space quakes) is actually random. You don't know where they will show up and as a result, many peole have died like they have said in the beginning of episode 1 where the first event happened 30 years ago which pretty much took out the entire area of Mongolia and China. The fact that they have bunker large enough to fit entire citizens inside and frequent emergency sirene prove that the appearance of the spirits are very frequent, and yet they still build a city on such place

Wonder how they still capable of keeping the city alive given the massive damage occured whenever spirits appear

It's because there's no such guarantee that a Spirit would not end up destroying the place they will move to.

To be fair, they did say in ep01 that spacequakes were more frequent in japan, so where the next spacequake would be is pretty easy to guess.

The plot is so retarded that it's actually funny. I found the first ep generic, only to come back for the proper OP (which is quite good btw), and didn't regret my decision to watch ep2.

It's not great literature, but at least i can shut my brain off for some mindless humour if they continue to do the comedy in this fashion.

What, troll? Never thought that simply nitpicking things would make me labeled as such. I thought calling a naysayer as a troll only happened in DxD season 1 thread, it seems i was wrong.

Meh, but don't worry though. I already dropped this show in ep 2 after realizing that it doesn't suit my taste (And i fucking hate weak useless harem protagonist)

You don't even need vol 7. Shido in end of vol 2 has a pretty GAR moment. Even next ep Shido is pretty cool.

this is an interesting series and I read the LN and it will get more fun but I have a nasty feeling this as a 1 cour will be like campione where they donate 4 episodes to each of the girls in the opening

first episode is priceless... although I'm shocked about Kotori's attitude change...

Isn't this planned to be one season in the first place?

Let's say the next ep finishes volume 1. Then we end up with 3 eps per volume and let's us end the season at the end of volume 4. Because there's no way they can end it at the final chap of volume 3, which is only a lead-in into vol 4.

I mean that since its 1 season there are 12 episodes in that. There are 3 girls shown in the opening for the people who haven't read the LN I wont spoil their names but there will be 4 episodes for each girl that's all its kinda boring this way.
