Was there ever any explanation as to why Diethard was beat up in episode 20? Did it have anything to do with Ohgi and Viletta?

Is there a bonus episode airing this sunday on TBS?

I just saw this article on Danny Choo saying it was and wanted to be sure. Didnt know where else to put this. Sorry if this has been answered already.

Yes. It's explained in offical newsletter. Ohgi and Viletta beat him up for blackmailing Ohgi, and they don't feel right if they don't get even.

Will there be a section about Code Geass in November's release of Newtype?

Blackmail for what? About their relationship? Wasn't it already known, or somewhat apparent, by then? Or was this something for suspecting Ohgi in the first place?

Umm maybe blackmail isn't the right word.
Ohgi no longer trusts Zero. But Diethard used Villetta to make sure Ohgi stay on his position as vice commander to keep BK together.

Koshimizu, has there been any word on whether Kallen's gumline will be changed?

Well, no one will give announcement about a line that shouldn't have existed (audiences shouldn't have seen) in the first place. XD
Japanese folks concluded that the gumline was an earlier version (since they need to give this to Bandai a few months ahead) of her line, which was changed to the "you mean you love (suki) Lelouch?" during her battle with C.C. in Turn 24.
Because 1) the line is similar enough, and the version on gum card is only going to fuel more hate towards Kallen with the "not forgive you" part; 2) the situation matchs, if you change that line to the gumline it fits perfectly.

Its not the end of the world, guys. Don't get so depressed over a changed script, it happens all the time. Roll with the punches.

I don't mind if the script was changed, but if they thought that such a line would be the most IMPORTANT Kallen line, they're insane.

Previously the line may have been the most important line. Since it got changed, likely a different line would be the most important line, and not the revised gumline.

Now all you Kallen fans need to do is figure what the new most important line is.

Supposing they change the gumline. My choices:

"What am I to you, Lelouch"

"You're probably laughing, saying 'just as planned'."

I would think her most important line would be "Why did you tell me 'I must live on' on the Ikaruga?" She was more emotional when she asked that.

I have a theory that Kallen's gum card line was suppose to be said to C.C. during their fight. Like, After She asked about the promise. maybe she cut C.C. off and said her line.
It sort of felt to me like something said between girlfriends. Sort of, 'you have no right to fall in love with him when you know how I felt about him first.'. That kind of vibe. Two girls that fall for the same guy, but not at the same time.

It did feel like Kallen was just robbed of her most important line of the series. While all the other's got their lines.
Perhaps they thought that the line was too definitive and they wanted to leave the status of the relationships more open as to not tick off any one series of fans.
It was a little frustrating how only later did Kallen realize how foolish she was for ever doubting him.
Kallen did get in the last romantic kiss of the series. Not to mention during Lelouch's rundown of memories it was his kiss with Kallen that stood out when it came to her.
She even still wears the key of the Guren around her neck. That was Lelouch's gift to her.
I'm hoping the Newtype that comes out has some section on Kallen.

May I ask what everyone's talking about? What's this about gumlines and script changes?
