Oh... See, I thought the lack of an "n" was just a typing mistake before, but if this other character (Kairi?) actually exists it might have been a more fundamental confusion. Well, that would explain the lack of follow up post I suppose. Sorry but you have both (or at least xhielle has) misread this thread's title, and apparently not read the first post or possibly any of the other post. This thread is about our mascot, not a character from a game. Her name has an "n" in it. Kairin not Kairi.

Oh well... and there was me hoping for some Kairin cosplay...

Anyway, of the pic aboive, here's the render version and without the stains of Tomato Juice (because if you read the description on my thread, you will know that the red stains are truly tomato Juice

)

Well, Evil Rick, you certainly got the scary factor down. She looks like she walked right out of a horror film or game! Nice color textures.

yay double-posting.

Anyway, I've been watching the latest Haruhi episodes and it got me inspired to do another Kairin drawing. This time in the Haruhi school uniform!
Edit: Images removed because the external hosting service was "upgraded" in Jan 2014.
This means the images were deleted. What remained here would only serve as an advert so has been removed.
Her headband is purple to match her outfit from the first drawings of her.

I inked this one in Manga Studio debut 4, and colored it in Photoshop CS4. Critiques are welcomed!

Looks good but the combination of the floor with the sky that way makes you think thay she's standing on the edge of a very tall edifice.

Thanks! Yeah, the clouds were inspired by the Endless Eight episodes, and then it looked wierd to have to floating so I drew a ground and....

Tada~! Kairin, Halloween edition. She's cosplaying Nagato Yuki dressed in a witch costume. If the background is too busy, I could always make a plain version. Comments and critiques, good or bad, are welcomed!

Call me crazy, but I think it's a Kairin version that had been used last year.... First thing that struck me as a familiarity was the color tones and dress design. Then at a closer look was the voluptuousness of Kairin's figure. I am so certain that this is a design that had been previously used.

Other than a reimplementation of a previous Kairin version, it's no surprise. Seems no one has really been keyed on designing a new 2009 look for Kairin. Not that it was requested or expected. But what else can be done? Summer is over, so goes Summer Kairin.

Well, it's almost winter so I thought I'd do some sketches for Kairin's winter look. I did them before I fell asleep so they're a little messy...
