I wouldn't call myself a fan, but I admit that Jay Chou writes good music. His songs often sport unique flavours that set themselves apart from the generic Chinese love-songs. I haven't had much time to follow his recent releases, so care to fill me in on the songs on this most recent album?

Personally, I don't like Jay Chou music one bit. There's something about his songs (( not all, some were good )) that grate my ears. But like [DOT].L said, he has his own unique flavour that makes him stand out.

I'm more of an oldies guy in my taste for Chinese songs. I have bought less than 10 new albums in these 6 years, compared to my collection of oldies.

Jay Chow's songs irks me. It seems like all his song are slow/heartbroken type of songs. But I gotta admit the boy can sing though and dates some of the hottest chicks.

New Jay Chou album already? Time sure flies by, guess autumn's here already. Though I prefer Eason Chan's music, Jay Chou's isn't too bad, at least he can write.

I only like Jay Chou's soft pop slow songs; in other words, the stuff that most people don't like

Examples: Hei Se Yo Mo, Feng, Ai Qing Xuan Ya, and of course, An Jing
(My Pin Yin sucks, so these may not be spelled correctly.)

It's a far cry from J-Pop, but my tastes can be eclectic.

i wouldn't really call myself a fan of his works but i do listen to his songs. Mostly his songs that are not the slow type. One of my fave songs is the ending song called "Fearless" for the movie "Fearless"....

Same here. Does anybody think his previous album; "November's Chopin" is better than the recent album, "Still Fantasy"?

I'm wondering if there are any romanticized lyrics for this album? I really need the pinyin ;p

I lovelovelove Jay Chou

I think 'Still Fantasy' is better than 'November Chopin,' 'November Chopin' had too many ballads and there wasn't enough of the experimental Jay Chou that I know and love, with 'Still Fantasy' he tried more different things and new styles, 'November Chopin' was just too safe. What makes Jay special is that experimental side of his music.

If you want the pinyin of his song lyrics, go to Jay-Chou.net

So what are everyone's top five Jay Chou songs? Mine are:

1. Ai Zai Xi Yuan Qian
2. Jian Dan Ai
3. Qing Tian
4. Ta De Jie Mao
5. Zhi Zhan Zhi Shang
