Hmmm.... honestly... Luffy looks ALITTLE odd to me... maybe it's cause he's not exactly in Oda's style right now... but I'll probably get used to it. Anyway... characters I'd like to see in the game... really not sure whether or not the game will feature more than one character from a series... so I'll mark some of the characters on the list with a "*" for characters that I figure would be nice... but I could really care less if they weren't in~

- Portgas D. Ace (One Piece)*
- Kenshiro (Fist of the North Star)
- Raoh (Fist of the North Star)*
- Kinnikuman (Kinnikuman)
- Mantaro Muscle (Kinnikuman Nisei)*
- Ichigo Kurosaki (Bleach)
- Bo-bobo (Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo)*
- Vegeta (Dragon Ball Z)*
- Frieza (Dragon Ball Z)*
- Jotaro Kujo (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure)
- Dio Brando (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure)*
- Yusuke Urameshi (YuYu Hakusho)

Though.... not entirely sure if this game will have a roster will contain many series or not... it COULD pull a Battle Stadium D.O.N and only have characters from One Piece, Naruto, Dragonball Z, and Toriko~

Gintoki Sakata from Gintama & Kankichi Ryotsu from Kochikame confirmed.

The best part is non-fighter (I know he is Policeman but still) can fight. There's hope chance for Yugi, Yagami Light and others appear in this game.

Gintoki can do kamehameha. All those years of practicing finally paid off. He's got his special attack the "thigh buster" too

I want Ryo Saeba to be in this. I don't think he's ever been in a video game before.

Either there are a lot of unnanounced characters, or the character roster for this game is really short.

I'm hoping for the former.......

oh please. this is just first trailer. you dont really expect the will show anyone in first trailer do you?

probably we have 30-40 character. 45 kinda make sense since it 45th Jump anniversary

Ah, I thought this was a later-in-development trailer. The game has been officially announced for a while, after all.

Considering it has a 2013 release date, I seriously doubt it'll have 30+ characters. Super Smash Bros has a 2014 release date and has already revealed more characters and is set to have 30-45 characters. I'd honestly be surprised if the total character roster of this game even doubles compared to what's been revealed so far.

By judging character roster choice, it seem developers pick major main characters. I kinda worry whether secondary and/or villains characters make debut or not, it's too many characters from different series into fit in this game.
