The price is crazy...does anyone freaking know why this is always the case when it comes to apanese games? Like ACE:R and stuff, it's always priced so high when the games themselves don't even resemble the graphic fidelity or detail of western games.

Are they just pricing it high because it's a Gundam game?

That's typical Japanese price. Isn't it always range from 7500 yen and above?

That's the typical pricing ScamCo fixed and throws on their anime-related games.

For some titles like SRW, I can understand because they need to pay licenses, Seiyuu fees and the such....

But for an action game like Gundam VS Extreme, no. Just no. Not especically when they still expect us to pay extras for DLC MS later on.

Another Gundam game for PS3 sounds like good news. What's VS Extreme like compared to something like Dynasty Warriors?

That's ridiculous...and I bet they're going to fry the price up from where I live because everyone would want that game...they did the exact same thing for Dynasty Warriors 7.

Fucking fantastic...and I really want this game...

Choose Asia version. Usually they are cheaper than Japanese one.

Beside, sound like you haven't imported much games from Japan. I find it's strange that people surprise at that price.

Still, it's best to be prudent with your money in this economical cilmate. I used to be pretty hardcore myself. But age had mellowed me and I choose to spend my money where it is worth now.

G VS Extreme doesn't seem worth 8000+ yen to me. Maybe in the 5000+ yen range.....

I live in asia myself and the asian versions are usually cheaper, that's true, but they don't always have them. They don't have them for the SRW games, and I don't remember them ever having it for the versus series so fingers crossed really.

I don't import Japanese games, they're usually already on sale here, but its' a free market so sometimes if there's a high demand for the game like Dynasty Warriors 7 they'll increase the price by...A LOT. I'm pretty sure that's what's going to happen to Gundam EXvs.

I've been waiting for it since the day I heard about it's programmed on the PS3 hardware, so it's on my list together with 2nd OGs.

Beside, I believe you can order Asia version online, isn't it?

It all depends on whether ScamCo released an Asian version first.

Does anyone know what the general opinion of Extreme VS is in Japan? Is it balanced? The dark horse of the family or the black sheep? Complaints to the changes from Next?

I've not updated for a while, but it's still have some funny balancing going on. Luna's Zaku Warrior is used to be top tier suit. Next one is Zeta Gundam.

General opinion of Extreme Vs is horrible based on what I have seen

Horrible Balance and removing interactive lines between characters have apparently ruined the game for them

I'm not sure where is your "general opinion" coming from, but I've been seeing people screaming for console release of the game since the day it hit the arcade.

They took out interacting lines? Are you serious? So character don't really talk to each other anymore when they fight? That seems like an odd thing to take out when it's got such a huge cast.

As for balancing, I thought it's online patch system would help...

That's the arcade version, i'm sure it's not a 100% port, kinda like the PLUS versions.
