I guess you're not one of the few people who rushed over to their nearest game store when the game came out in English a months ago, in hopes it won't be sold out? XD

The 3d mechas look.....a bit strange, especially Alteisen and Lion. Gespent and Megilot looks sexay though. but I suppose I'll get used to it.

Kusuha, Ingram and Excellen are looking good. Far better than their OVA counterpart. YUS INGRAM and Excellen. <3

The trailer kicks ass. Ingram narration and apparently decent use of 3d mecha action, with decent animation. Can't wait.

White Gespenst and Megillot. <3

Looking at the trailer again, the style of animation is reminisce of the Initial D: Fourth Stage's.

A lot. Super Robot Wars characters are mostly god among men. Even if they are not, they are still awesome people.

dodgethis_sg: Agreed. ID 4th Stage was a nice change though.

I know its depressing, but don't lose heart. I know it seems the only way to get people to watch a mecha show nowadays is to put a loli in the cockpit, but maybe the manliness and hot bloodedness of SRW will tweak that part of the brain that modern fans aren't in touch with and bring back demand for hot blooded super robot action.

Well, SRW is a creature of old, with bland graphics, uncomfortable interface, and bad old-school mechanics. Lets hope the story is good enough, at least, to make an anime interesting...

It's aired already in Japan. It's 3:30 AM there on Wednesday October 4th.

And when was the last time you played an SRW Game Karnot, like on the SNES. Next time have a clue what you're talking about and use proper adjectives. Banpresto ditched the awful Winky Soft company a long time ago.

that trailer basically confirms what we already know, which is that it's baised mostly on Ryusei's story of Original Generation. This should be quite entertaining.

Waiting for raw now, I hope someone picks up the subs.

Tell me that after you play SRW @3 and the upcoming OGS, please.

I'll say this, the story itself is good with a strong cast of characters, but it's not like it's a guareented success story either. Haven't we seen enough good-material-bad-adaption kind of things around?

Nothing wrong in being excited over this.

I got to wait for people's reaction upon seeing the Old Iron/whatever is that on Alt Eisen's right hand being used in the anime.

I hope they use the OGs version of the Revolver Stake.

"My Revolving Stake is loaded red, it is telling me to stick it through it your head"

"BAKURETSU!!!! REVOLVER STAKEEEE!!!!!!"

And correction for kct = Alt eisen = Old Iron in German.

Yeah, I meant that. Thanks for the correction, I've never got around finishing either OG or OG2.

Oh, i do have a clue, unlike you and the likes of you. I played SRW:OG, it was released in 2002, and compared to Fire Emblem 6 released in that same year it was quite a dinosaur. Nothing changed since SNES times.

Okay, so you played OG for the GBA. What else?

And it's laughable that you hope the story is good enough when you should know what the whole damn story is by now, since this is an adaption that the very game you played.
