"... If Miss Erica truly slew the War God, the situation will be serious. We, the association, will use all of our power to carry out God's revenge!"

"Then, young boy, with things becoming like this, please tell us the location of Miss Erica."

"If you're not going to answer, we will use force until you speak!"

Both of them started to talk together.

"There's no way I can know! When I woke up, I was already captured by the two of you! More importantly, even if I knew, I wouldn't tell you!"

Godou shouted. There's no way he would cooperate with people searching for Erica in order to get revenge.

"Is that so. Then it can't be helped. Abiding by the contract with the God Mithra, under the name of Emperor Name, you will tell the truth, all of your words will be honest, and any lie will be prohibited."

One of the men muttered some strange phrases.

For the first time in his life, Godou felt a strange sensation. The words spoken by the man, enveloped with <Power>, transformed into <something>, a colorless abstract thing that appeared from Godou's body!

Words of Power? He vaguely remembered about those.

If a Word Spell really exists, then it must operate like this.

But, why was I able to see the phenomenon? What's happening to me?!

"Huh? This kid, did he just repel my magic?"

It wasn't just Godou, the one using the Word Spell was also surprised.

"His body might be protected from magic. In order to not spread information, this kind of magic was placed."

"As expected of the ally of the Great Knight of the <Copper Black Cross>..."

Self-Protection Magic? Of course there's no way Godou was able to do that. It was Erica's doing after all. But where the hell did she go in such a hurry like that?

"Then it's unavoidable. If we can't use the proper way, we can only rely on the hard way."

One of the men started speaking of dangerous things.

"Out of respect for the famous name of <Copper Black Cross>, we will use the most wicked magic. We will give you the sensation of your brain being boiled, a curse that will make you feel like you are dying. Your magical protection will be of no use against this spell."

"If you don't want to die, spit out all your information about her now!"

"C'mon, hurry and say it. You can still make it if you talk now!"

Godou gulped down his own saliva.

It wasn't just simple threatening. After spending a few days here, with all that has happened, he knew of the absurd things magicians were capable of. There's no way he could sell out Erica to them.

Looking at Godou, who was suppressing his own fear of death, the robed man glared at him again.

"Hm. You are prepared to die to protect your friend. It's too bad. ...Losing my grace, justice and animality, all together will lose their light. Victory will belong to the evil!"

The Word Spell has now finished gathering <Power>.

While feeling that same kind of feeling again, Godou thought about how to guard against this magic. 'Is there something I can use as a shield?' There was also the option to stall for time by telling lies, he thought while regretting not trying that earlier.

But it was already too late. He already felt the fatal curse rushing over him.

After surviving a battle with a God, I die in a place like this... Huh?

"Our most wicked magic is being nullified! Even with the magic of Great Knight class, there's no way he would be able to guard against the opposition magic!?"

"Impossible.. boy, what are you...?"

Both of the robed men were dumbstruck.

No one can blame them. For a reason that he himself was unable to comprehend, the Word Spell that hit Godou was instantly annihilated. Which was then immediately followed by this scene.

"Hold it right there! Taking captive of Erica Blandelli's companion is already absurd, but you were also planning to execute him? Well, I am quite glad about what you are both doing to him."

Suddenly, the barn door opened.

The one who gallantly entered was a beautiful girl, basking under the evening sunlight, her reddish-blond hair like a crown.

Both wisdom and ambition were displayed in her beautiful face.

The gloomy robed men started to falter.

It was Erica Blandelli. The girl that these people had wanted to find.

that the only time i have read that spells doesn't work on him ..

It's not a true immunity, just a scaled up resistance. Even a normal mage can resist magic to a degree by raising the magic power in their bodies. Its unconscious for campiones because they have something on the order of hundreds of times the magical power of even an elite mage.

A mage still might be able to injure Godou with a spell if they used one destructive enough. Its just none of those delicate or weak spells will work because it can't overcome his resistance.

so if someone shot a fireball, it wouldnt be magic, but physical fire, and that could hurt him.

wrong it doesnt matter what kind of magic not even an AOE can hurt him. For the magic to work it has to be magic curses that can affect Gods.

Is for this reason he withstood a magical whirlwind of voban just by rising his magical power, and AOE is canceled as well just by rising his magical power.

In little words no human can hurt him with magic at least they kiss him, or infuse their spells with magic that can affect Gods. And he doesnt even need his autorities.

However now that the HCC has some ties with Godou, you guys feel a partisan split internally in the HCC?

Back to the topic, Campione is like the Hulk, and bullet is the mid level magic, the bullet would bound off the Hulk because Hulk skin is super durability, even missile does do little damage to no damage at all and missile would consider high-very high magic in Campione.

So if you want to kill the Hulk you better bring a NUKE!

Nope. Ichirou, Mayo, Godou and Shizuka are the last remains of the main family. They are not connected to magic as far as we know (except for Godou~~). The branch families are plenty and all over the place.

Furthermore I think that the [Raptor] has the biggest weakness. Cause after use he will be a setting duck who can't move a single muscle mush less use his authority. So once the he uses the [Raptor] the only outcome would be defeat or draw.

He also used it to retreat from Voban, but he still has to find a place where he can recuperate from the side effects.

Just finished vol 6 here and waiting eagerly for vol 7... and uh, can anyone answer my question (please don't spoil too much )

In the last scene where Godou punched Luo Hao in vol 6, there's a shockwave that somehow appeared in that fight. Does this phenomenon will be explained further in vol 7 or is it just me that couldn't comprehend what happened?

It's just my guess but as you may know planes that goes fast enough that they break the sound barrier create shockwaves so in that case maybe Godou's [Raptor] did just that.
