I was digging around the official site and found a few pics of a lifesize Emily doll that the producers had custom made for publicity purposes. Spoiler:

You can see her name at 26:37 or so - but backwards and not high resolution enough to make out. Looks more like 4 letters than five, but I guess we'd need a HD version or something...

Maybe NeoSam can dig up some info on the manga for us? EDIT: There's pages from the manga featured on the Information page on the official site. Unfortunately they're embedded in a Flash .swf file so not very user friendly. Looks like the manga concentrates on Lotti as much as Sara. Last edited by Sonhex; 2006-11-05 at 06:23. |

Ahh Dragon AGE, not Dragon Ace.
First of all: Dragon AGE is a shounen(boy's) manga magazine, mostly aims at targeting male otakus. Shounen manga from this magazine that got or will get animated: Karin (got an anime), Kyoshiro to Towa no Sora (will get an anime). Also its the magazine that serialized the manga adaptations of Full Metal Panic! light novel. Yes, Soukou no Strain manga is a shounen manga. Soukou no Strain manga started recently in Dragon AGE magazine so no volumes are out yet. Soukou no Strain manga Origianl Work: Studio Fantasia Artwork: U.G.E The artwork of the manga is done by U.G.E (maybe a new mangaka, because I can't find any other works by him/her).

Due to my inability to remove out of my head that song that's played when Sara is dancing with Ralph in the past, I have decided to rearrange it -.-;; (The same theme is also used in the episode previews)
Anyway, you can download an mp3 of my rearrangement at: http://www.sendspace.com/file/vlvww2 Oh, and Guido, could you perhaps spoiler tag your impressions, in case someone stumbles onto this thread without having watched the first episode yet? |

Just finished chapter 2 of the manga, which was published in the issue of Dragon Age which came out in October. Looks like the manga is revolving around Lottie as the main character. We learn about why Lottie shows so much vehemence towards Sara's brother in chapter 2 of the manga.
And in the illustrations, the training academy in Episode 1 is written as being on "Planet GRABERA" |

Spoiler:
Definetely following this one. But the interesting thing is that according to this ANN Encyclopedia entry: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/ency...me.php?id=6829 ...it's loosly based on the novel A Little Princess by Francis Hodgson Burnett. |
