Thanks for confirming that λδ did preexist the game. I think that this makes sense, since she'd have had to test her power against the previous strongest witch in order to earn that title.

i have but i was told that it was a seperate issue on what happened in the game and the anime... or should i just conclude that he was under intensive medical care from irie? the novel didnt suggest that i presume?

You are probably confused because of Miotsukushi-hen, which is the ending that replaces Matsuribayashi-hen in the PS2. In the original visual novels things happen pretty much as they were portrayed in the anime.

Is that in the visual novel? Because I was thinking of the anime where Rika is briefly shown in the classroom, but isn't actually introduced until the picnic scene.

Yes, Rika is introduced in the classroom in both the sound novel and the manga.

From what i've known that 3 last chapter Minagoroshi-hen, Matsuribayashi-hen have released in Japan but no ones translated them yet, right?

And one of my friends said that the woman in the last scene (ep 24 Higurashi Kai)was Bernkastel, not Frederica, what do you think about it?

I too think that it is probably Bernkastel after Saikoroshi-hen. Presumably it's from the 900 years she spent playing with the fragments before getting bored and paying Beatrice a visit.
