Kinda pity though... I'm always up for some alternative Ryuuji-Ami or Ryuuji-Minori universe, it would pretty much fix my view of the series but I doubt I'll ever get anything of that sort. For the record, I thought the extra Tomoyo ep in Clannad was the next best thing since sliced bread.

Oh well, I guess it'll be really hard to please everyone since we all have different preferences... like how I thought the extra Tomoyo ep in Clannad was the next worst thing since Shuffle and Kaede (Joking, joking. Though I could hardly stand Shuffle and wasn't overly fond of the Tomoyo ep, Kannagi was by far the worst, most meaningless piece of *** I have ever come across in anime)

the tomoyo episode makes sense for clannad since it was originally a story with multiple endings. one of them being a tomoyo ending.

Toradora has only 1 ending. It will not have a season 2.

The most anyone can hope for is an OVA and even though I would like to see one I seriously doubt it because I don't think there is anymore source material.

Did they cover all the side stories from the novel in the anime?

They covered NO side stories from the novels in the anime.

Unless you count the five minutes of Sakura and Tomiie and the minute and a half of Haruta and his girlfriend to be their short stories...

The thing with Haruta is in the normal books (I think). The side story is about how he actually got with her from what I've heard.

Is there such a side-story?

Haruta seems the sort of guy who gets a girlfriend easily without much fuss and drama.

Ah, really? So it's not a just reference to the story?

Actually, yeah, there's an entire short story about it.

Haruta might be a wee bit more complex than people give him credit for.

Really wanna read it.

Haruta and his girlfriend look alike. Wonder if they're also similar in their personalities and, erm, intelligence? . Also, I could never have guessed that sickeningly sappy Sakura ("Hontou ni daijoubu? Hontou ni hontou?") would be the sister of strong-minded and slightly masculine Sumire. (Source = Wikipedia, hahaha)

I think Haruta's girlfriend is actually fairly intelligent... She seems more like the Yamato Nadeshiko type, though.

She'd have to be to put up with Haruta...

Yeah Haruta and his girlfriend are an interesting paring. I want to find out about how they came about too.

We could wait for translations, or someone to give us a kindly summary.

If I had the novel I'd give you a little summary, but I only have the first two volumes. The background on their relationship comes up in the side stories right?

I give this show a 6/10. It was fun, but overhyped. It actually had a twist in plot after eps. 17. Didn't really expect them to go in that direction. And fan service was really, really good at the end. Most anime leave ya hanging.

Kinda like the last SOS except with pudding.

In the middle there it sounded almost like Ryuuji was quoting FMA... except with pudding.

Kyou no Inko-chan do not want.
