What kind of "mood" do you like to be in when you watch anime?
What triggers that mood, and what kind of mood do you like animes to put you in?
(I'll say my piece of mind once this thread gets started.)

Well anime makes me.... energetic.... or excited or something when I am watching something really good.....

I like anime to get me out of my boredom thats for sure and put me in a "whats going to happen next mood" >.<

For me, what gets me in the mood is by first being stressed. It helps me also as a stress breaker (c-c-c-combo breaker).
One way for me to get in the mood for watching anime is to first watch a few AMVs. That almost always works.

I can't pay attention to things for a long time so I have to be completely bored or really want to watch anime. I have a couple shows on DVD like TMOHS or DBZ so I can just watch those whenever I want to. If I'm watching anime on the computer, which is where I do most of my ... everything, I have to sign off MSN and exit my browsers and fullscreen it or I can't watch it because I'm too distracted.

I like to be very focused while watching anime. I absolutely hate it when I have to pause and rewind just to listen and absorb what's going on (especially if it's dialogue or plot-heavy).

Also, I love it when an anime pulls my heart strings. I have yet to find one that's made me cry xD And I keep postponing Clannad: Afterstory

I dont need to be in a mood to watch any anime all I need to do is lying on my side to watch and I can watch for hours all I need to do is switch sides
