♥ Hina, one of the greatest Hinagiku episode, 11/10!

But it looks like they are going to skip Hina's birthday, which include the all important balcony scene with Hayate, it would suck if thats not included in this season

I think it's cool that they intentionally saved this episode just in time for her birthday. That being said, Happy Birthday, Hinagiku!

Happy birthday Hina. This week you reaffirmed why I tend to like pink haired anime girls.

It was a very satisfying and fun episode. It fulfilled my expectations. I’ll be so sad when it ends soon.

After this epiode if Hayate plays his cards right, maybe he and Hina can be a couple. However at the same time I would be sad for Maria and Nishizawa (i.e. my other favorite girls) for missing their opportunity with Hayate.

So far Hina is my favorite character that Shizuka Itou has played.

Lately I have been thinking that a Hayate spin-off focusing on Hina, Yukiji, and the slacker Student Council Trio would be my idea of great fun, even if it is 1 cur (i.e. 3 month season).

I RAAAAAAAGE'd. I thought it would go that way in a modified plotline. But her birthday is soon, so I wouldn't give up. Need moar manga adaption happiness.

Well, this episode gives us two possibilities. Either they'll end up giving us the oh so desired scene for her birthday, or the plot will be dropped. Personally, the prelude here is strong enough to a point I doubt it's just a pointless aspect.

Advice for young boys who enjoy their youth for love:

1. Don't get distract with thoughts about the girl you secretly hold a crush for, when assuming that the letter you found inside your class desk is from hers, moments prior to the start of a big test or final exam.

2. Girls absolutely dislike it to dread, if you insinuate that their touch for things is not enough girly. If you do, they'll start expelling an evil aura that will haunt you back.

3. It's men's obligation to afford the money to pay for the thing(s) a girl loves but couldn't win at the UFO catcher machine.

4. In case of being the sore loser of the school, challenge your rival to something where you're best at it. If you still lose, then challenge someone more loser and pathetic than you. And even if you're defeated by that miser fellow, then may God have mercy on your soul.

Advice for young girls who enjoy their life for love:

2. If you happen to see a little kitten on a high branch of a tree, make sure first that you're an expert tree-climber before making any rescue attempts.

3. There's no shame at calling the boy you love for help when you're about to fall from the tree.

4. Your mind will flood with thoughts of images about the boy you love, but you may feel so embarrassed that you will deny it.

5. At the end, your boy will give you that present that you desired so much, but couldn't win it in the UFO catcher machine.

Man, this episode made me so incredibly giddy that I went into fangirl mode inc. giggling, awh'ing, wiggling around my chair, and generally making weird sounds instead of words come out of my mouth.

After I watched it I immediately proceeded with rewatching it twice, so I could see it in 1 go, instead of 10 sec animation --> me giggling and being generally weird, while pausing the ep ---> 10 more sec of animation ---> me being giddy again while the ep is paused ---> rinse and repeat for 24 minutes.

I don't really remember anything like that happen to me before, so now I'll need to go rewatch some Gurren-Lagann or something to make me back into a man...

Anyhow, blushing Hina was incredibly cute, and Sukuran-level misunderstandings ftw.
In short: an epic episode of Hayate.

quite embarrassed to say, but i just about got to that same level of giddiness. Hina is definitely my fav. female character and this was a major overload for my brain. Seriously, best couple: Hayate x Hina! So many moe scenes for Hina, I lost track, but this episode was made of pure WIN!! (along with this poll, PURE WIN!!)

Also the animation was pretty good this episode, though I thought it really shined when it showed Hina waiting under that Sakura Tree, that was a really beautiful shot.

Btw, man Hamsters appearance threw me for a loop. It was so random she just appears suddenly and starts working on that piece of Strawberry dipped in whipped cream.......mmmmmm......strawberries. Damn you censor signs!!!!!

Also about people worrying the series will skip over the "Hina Birthday" part that was in the manga, well keep in mind that the narrator did say "Will Hinagiku be calling for her special person on her special day? That'll be for another episode." So Im trusting the narrator that the series will get to making an episode for this, one way or the other (whether its in the remaining few episodes, or in a possible new season)

Oh did anyone else notice that Hayate's Cats cradle creation was "Zoids Genesis: Murasame Liger"
