Touka is named like that by Shidou because 10 days has past since he first met her when he named her(she originally doesn't has any name). Touka(her name,十香) has the same sound as 10 days(also Touka, 十日, which is used more). Yoshino(not Hoshino) on the other hand, somehow already has name when Shidou found her. So it's not the order of them appearing. Also, the number 5 in Kotori name come from her family name(Itsuka) not her given name.

Well, Touka or Tohka is just a matter of romanization that's why I didn't comment on that one. The number doesn't have anything to do with it, the author just decides to use number as theme for naming the character(Kotori name, 琴里, doesn't have number in it for instance, but Origami's family name, Tobiichi 鳶一, has number 1 in it).
I'm not sure about the number in the cover, but I guess it's just the author way to show the reader that he uses number as the character's theme. It probably will have more meaning down the line, but right now the number doesn't have to do with it since the reason Touka name has 10 in it is because of Shidou's bad naming sense(which he regrets himself lol, and for reference, he named her Tome before settling on Touka :P). |

Unfortunately, there's no English translation for any manga series for Date A Live. There are three manga series for Date A Live, the "Date A Live" manga, spinoff manga "Date A Strike" and 4-koma spinoff "Date A Origami".
"Date A Origami" chapter 1 has been translated into Chinese by the Chinese fans. So, it's unfortunate for the English-speaking fans.
