Chinese translations finished Ch2. Here's a summary:

Spoiler:

-Roberto talks a blackmailed guy working for Gremlin down, avoiding being killed by a gun. The guy's good at persuasion.

-Bardway got shot, but had the magical equivalent of a bulletproof vest on her. The spell was based on tarot (the Major Arcana card) and made by Aleister Crowley decades ago. The picture of a hanged man symbolises Jesus' crucifixation, and can negate the concept of being stabbed/pierced. (in this case 'pierced by bullets' got told LOLNO)
Bardway and Accel proceeded to scare the assailant s@#tless, and plan out a way to capture the magician behind the attack.

-Bardway told Touma, Shiage and KuroNyan what happened via phone call, and basically rubbing their face in Accelerator's superiority in this line of work. Moments later Gremlin came in guns blazing at the trio.

-Mikoto got the job of disrupting Gremlin's signals with Worst, and got trolled to hell and back. Worst is on a roll snarking about Mikoto's figure, her relationship with Touma and how all these exotic swimsuits they just passed by won't possibly be any use to her. Mikoto is seriously considering making a Gatling-Railgun technique just to blow Worst to kingdom come.

-The magician behind the attack on Bardway got surrounded by the 3 heroes + Kuronyan. More Gremlin agents came and busted her out. Accel tanked the gunshots, but then realised it was a ploy by Gremlin to force him to use esper ability then have him unconsciously use magic (body movement -> symbols for magic), making his body ripping apart and lost his ability to fight temporarily.

-Roberto came in and saved Accel's skin. He's also pissed/frustrated that nobody seems to watch the morning news as he's not recognised on sight as the president of the USA.
Those two went on a car-ride, and Accel's being grilled on why a Japanese is looking into this. Roberto also went into detail on what happened to US with people being possessed and subverted into the enemy.

-Touma and co found Gremlin's objective is the anti-disaster measure on Hawaii that can minimise volcano eruption problems, and using it to blow Hawaii up via volcano eruption.

I think they are not only twins, but identical ones. Styl mentions that they look exactly alike, save for their expressions, or something along those lines.

It could be that only East Asian countries are sane..... or are they? It would be fun if some Korean or Chinese factions are included (but that would make things too complicated, it seems). The reason why Shinto isn't added more is probably because it (and other East Asian "magic") would infinitely expand the story beyond saving, unless we're going to have the "Apocrypha" after NT.

By changing focus it doesn't requires to become major factions, just have the a different person and his/her group as the antagonist. Clearly, Christianism factions can't play that now that RCC (because of GRS) and ROC (because of WW3) have been weakened a lot.

It's not that they weaken...it's the fact that many of the protagonists are either Necessarius or Roman Catholic....

Even with Levinia and her band, they're still a major part of Touma's group.

Lol, a very good point

Chapter two has been updated, now it's clear to me that the President has experience dealing with these kinds of situations lol. I'm really curious how this magician is controlling those people, what are the conditions that allow her to do it? Otherwise she would have already gone for the President or anyone else instead off letting the threats run around amok.
