Is the light novel series widely received in Japan? I mean, there are so many spinoffs for this, which means this series must be popular right?

From what I heard, it's indeed pretty popular, the novels and themanga...but I heard that on ANN Forums, which is a doubtful source IMO.

It's pretty well received. Not at Index levels, but still good. In fact its rank increased in Konorano this year. After Mayoi Neko ends with the upcoming volume, the author will have more time to focus on this.

In the later volumes, does Miu also fall in love with Yuuta? We all know that Sora is completely bro-con for Yuuta, but I am not sure of Miu's own feelings.

Not really a surprise with the club president being a lolicon, but I still laugh hard when he said Sora is 'oba-san' XD
But well, at least he genuinely care for Yuuta, though it was his love for Miu that made him took Yuuta's job

And for Nimura, I know I said it little bit creepy for me lately, but turns out he really does care for the girls and Yuuta. Though he also hitting Miu, and Miu hit him back, that make me goes 'What the-' for a little bit

But the ending for chapter 6 is really great

Papa no Iu Koto wo Kikinasai! LN vol. 1 - 7 (no spoilers):

So I ripped through this in the past 4 days and was surprised at how well done it is. The light novels is quite a lot more somber than its light-hearted manga counterpart, and is a family drama more than anything else. A lot of the issues the family encounters hit close to home and raises interesting questions regarding specifically the gain and loss(both physical and metaphorical) of family. The fact that most of the story is told through novice parent Yuuta's unabashed perspective is what made this really work, as the reader can really relate to the insecurity, jealousy, and pride that he experiences as a father. This is where I think the anime adaptation will have the most difficulty in conveying, if they plan to do so at all.

Yuuta is a very capable male lead, despite being a tad too donkan. The three girls are all adorable, especially Hina and Miu. The side characters plays a surprising big role in the narrative and has nobody too disagreeable.

Very interested in seeing what the anime will be like.

Papa no Iu Koto o Kikinasai! / パパのいうことを聞きなさい! (26 eps)
On Air: January 10, 2012

Segawa Yuta is a freshman of a university. He lost his parents when he was small and was raised by his sister Yuri. Yuta has been living alone since Yuri got married to a middle aged man when Yuta was a junior high student. One day, Yuri visited Yuta’s apartment and asked him to take care of her three daughters while Yuri and her husband were on a trip. He unwillingly accepted the job but the plane Yuri took went missing. In order to prevent the daughters from being adopted separately by relatives, Yuta decided to take in all three girls. A life of a strange family in a tiny apartment begins. (The elder two of the daughters are stepchildren of Yuri’s husband. The smallest one is Yuri’s child.)

So the story is more focused on family matters than love story ? Well, from the manga I've read so far, there's only a little about romance and fan services, it's more heartwarming story on how they cope themselves to the change and Yuuta's struggle as a parent, stuff about family.

Nope, it's focused on both, IMO. There's one volume that's dedicated on Valentine's Day, so...

I see.

Let's just hope the anime covers the Valentine's part, if it's aired for 26 episodes.
