I love Yuri's lines in this episode.
Like the part where the teacher asks her to read the page, and she goes off on an epic rant about how you only get one life. Or the part where new guy tells her that she has an eternity to make her decision, and she responds, "I'll tell you one thing. Being human means... not being able to wait even 10 minutes!" With the image of the bloodstained clock for dramatic emphasis. I'm such a sucker for the drama, and Key gets me every time. Can't wait to see how the last episode goes! |

Wow, did she actually rant in that classroom till evening?
Sure it might not have been "real" but it sure was ironic they depicted it like that. Boring and flawed ranting are kinda what mark the key series anyway, and why I never liked their earlier works. At least I was expecting it. I still like the series as a whole though. |

Spurred on by someone's comparison with the Matrix Reloaded, I made this comparison pic:
Spoiler for Ishida Akira is the Architect?:
The situation is REALLY similar in several ways, if you think about it. Almost like Maeda ripped off the Matrix Reloaded. |

wait... is it possible for those who disappear to reappear in another similar world?
or maybe its some kind of alternate dimension? when yuri got absorbed by the shadows, she went to a world where everyone was present, no shadows at least in the classroom. outside we could see the fighting, but when she turned around to take a good look, there was nothing... and then she was brought back... makes me feel there is a 2nd version of the world they are living in... like graduating from high school to university, but practically the same... anyway quit complaining about characters disappearing "without any purpose". we dont even know yet if its the end. we might get season 2, we might get a VN. who knows what more they can make?

Another awesome episode, mainly with each member popping up and bring up more action.
Despite the numerous Matrix references, I enjoyed how they played it out, but for that one instance, I thought Yuri loosing it might actually make her the 'final boss', but guess that was just the immediate reaction. Though this ep ain't without flaws, but then again, time constraints. The new version of the ending is what I was always hoping for, so that's a plus. Can't wait for episode 13, especially with what Otonashi lines. |

Meh, I would have liked it much better if they pulled some Agatha Christie move, making the computer stealer a preexisting cast member. Oh well, it still played out okay, especially with Yuri's short Higurashi-esque spasm; that made my day, not to mention I fell for it.
All in all, a nice episode to end the plot on, now all we need to see is the main cast move on. I'm expecting episode 13 to tie up any loose ends; Maeda always ensures that all questions are answered by the end of his large, sprawling works. |

I definitely liked Yuri's development this episode... and it would have been so much better had she got more screentime to begin with. ...What exactly was the point of all this again? |

I can't help but feel as though PA Works has completely destroyed Maeda's creative vision, but he seems perfectly pleased as to how this turned out. Well, yes. This would explain why it rips off homages so many other popular works. |

So tell me again, why did Meda chose to work with PA Works over KyoAni or some other bigger studio? ugh...
It doesn't stop me from still enjoying this series somewhat though. I have to admit, they did Yuri good at the end of the episode. |
