Welcome to the final round. The rules are simple now. 1 grand prize winner and 2 runner ups will be chosen. We promise that the three winners will all be displayed at the top of the forum. (As well as any any others that we choose.) The banner with the highest number of votes will be the grand prize winner. A moderator (Hellychan) may not win the grand prize. No single contestant may win more than once (that means ^Aya^ and Daniel E.). The poll will close on October 11 after exactly 7 days of voting. All votes made by people who registered after Sept 12 (as well as any other votes that I deem improper) will be disqualified to reduce cheating. Polls close automatically so please check the poll for information concerning when it will close in your timezone.

The grand prize is a $35 gift certificate to Amazon.com generously donated by Catgirls.

Well, I do think that 13 nominations are appropriate for our Halloween contest. Congratulations to all our semi-finalists. I have to give a special nod to Daniel E. for being the first contestant to ever get all three of his banners into the final round. Just Wow.

I'm also very happy to see Kairin in two of these banners. I hope she gets lots and lots of votes because I like to see her smiling face. Please don't make Kairin cry!

I don't think the unrecognized characters necessarily come from anywhere. They might be original characters by the original artist - but in which case it would only be right to identify the source because technically that person has all the rights to their work, and here we are just using them :P Althoguh I remember Deathkillz's one had a source picture mentioned somewhere...

I personally voted for Slugzilla's because it had the best colour harmony and 'feel'. Also nothing really felt jarring. There's something jarring about nearly all the others... if it wasn't for Slugzilla's, I'd have voted for ^Aya^ - 01. Because it's hilarious.

In my vote, I'm going for simplicity and quality. Only two banners stand out on this; i0td - 23 and Daniel E. - 10. Sadly the rest look cluttered and busy either due to the inclusion of too many characters/stuff; or that foreground/characters does not... seat well with the background and overall banner.

Comparing the two, sorry Daniel E., but I'm gonna give my vote to 23. No matter how I look at it, its delightfully simple yet captures a cuteness plus a Halloween feel, and everything else just complements the foreground to make it one awesome banner.

Sorry for that rambling; so in the end I voted i0td - 23.

Ehm the whole banner is from Ouran ^^ The two girls are taken from the Beach episode (ep n.8), the ones scared in the fear trial in the cave
