But the good direction and storyboarding, amusing humor, outrageous fanservice, and sympathetic characters were all the same.
Were you able to get a hold of some fansubs/raws or did you buy them yourselves? Been looking for like a month now and all I've found is two different Chinese rips of DVD episode 1. Can't believe no one's subbing/ripping the DVDs when they're so popular :S

i just finished watching this series, really good. i wasn't upset with the ending, since ren didn't really choose any of the girls i didn't really care, i liked it because him and his sister found a new home, and i loved the parodies on the show.

Still no one subbing/ripping DVDs? Any language? It's so strange that there's only Episode 1 out there, what I've been able to find, since the DVDs have at least 2 episodes in it...

With all the volumes selling this well
The actual numbers are wholly unimpressive (~2400 units per volume so far), despite high rankings.

Bu but it's still number 3 in the top ten!

Well still hope for an OVA or two.

Wow, this anime is pretty popular, as it achived the top 10 for dvd sales last (week?) in japan. I, myself, found it fairly entertaining but would not consider it as rewatchable or even for S2. Japanese people sure have an interesting taste in their anime....

Theres a high chance for an OVA or S2 at this rate.

I think technically *we* would be the ones to have an "interesting" taste seeing as it originates there

Ageha-sama Parodies Gin-sama in Kimi ga Aruji de Shitsuji ga Ore de

I added the following trivia to Kimi ga Aruji de Shitsuji ga Ore de (TV) - Anime News Network.

Quote:
During hanami (cherry blossom viewing) with the gang in the second half of Episode 11 of Kimi ga Aruji de Shitsuji ga Ore de, Ageha Kuki commands her butler Kojuurou to bring her a whole keg, which she proceeds to guzzle down all by herself. The keg is labeled, "Nyuusankin" ("Lactic Acid Bacteria"). This is a parody of a line by Suigintou in Rozen Maiden, another role performed by Ageha's Japanese voice actor (seiyuu) Rie Tanaka. In Episode 8 of the first season of the Rozen Maiden anime, Suigintou asks Motoharu Shibasaki, "Nyuusankin totteruu?" ("Have you taken your lactic acid bacteria?")
This is where all the association of lactic acid bacteria drinks, Yakult, etc., with Suigintou - and for that matter, with Tanaka Rie - originates from, a famous trademark line delivered by Tanaka Rie in her own unique, distinctive manner as Suigintou in the Rozen Maiden anime.
