As for Hitsugaya some kind of alteration to his petals aspects if probable, but as some reckon, they're not really too much of an issue anymore. He can already use bankai for two moderate length battles on the one day without it crapping out...

Renji's bankai doesn't have a restricted length of use. Though, I totally forgot about Soi Fon's bankai.

I *think* that's the canon explanation

The petals are a limiter on his bankai to show he hasn't mastered it, so they'll disappear when he does.
