Everyone talking about the guy destroying the council do remember Ultear destroyed the council too.
As for Silver I gotta think that no longer means he's related to gray. Here's the real interesting thing E.N.D being the master means that most likely igneel will return to the world by the end of this arc

For her part, Ultear merely destroyed the building as far as we could see to slow them down. This 'guy' is a demon and he actually KILLED them.

being half-demon would explain why Ultear had such a abnormal amount of magic at such a early age.

Well, don't Gray and Silver look alike?

On top of this, Gray is pretty much the Musica of Fairy Tail. So why not give him a relative named Silver?

With Silver turning out to be a demon and possibly having a connection with Gray, it makes you wonder if there was some major significance to Deliora's, the demon, attack on Gray's village, when he was a child.

And apart from both being ice-mages their names are similar colours too. I like the idea of Silver being Gray's father.

Interesting that Silver is a demon and uses demon-slaying magic.

Kyouka being a demon could mean some relation exists with Mira's satan soul forms.

You gotta understand something Tempest, this council blamed Fairy Tail for every god forsaken thing that happened in the series. Only Org One Eye geezer was the only kinda ally they ever had. Although I'm sad about losing him, the others can bite it in hell for all I care. Rest in, well yeah, Earthland Faust. I guess you can say, the council just struck a *shades* Faustian Bargain they couldn't deliver.

I could care less about the council dying but I was still shocked to that just one member of Tartaros could kill the entire council. I get the feeling that we are about to see another guild alliance only this time with more characters and the Sabertooth guild.

I wasn't too concerned about the Geezer Round Table to be honest.

It was more of wanting a FT member(s) to bite the dust (for good) to make things 'more believable' or 'realistic' or some other plot ploy...

Honestly, Neji's death is a horrible example since even the circumstances around it make it seem more like an asspull, It's like he just upped and axed him for no apparent reason. At least Gray's reversed-death was in a more believable setting/context. The death of a main or beta character doesn't auto-make any piece of work better.
