Action/Fighting Manga

Hello all, I'm trying to get into manga. I am looking for some really good action manga though I can't really come up with any similar titles because I haven't read much manga. If I could just get some brief looks at some of the best action mangas that would be great so I could see which one is to my liking. Also... I don't want to read Bleach, Naruto, One Piece, or Hunter X Hunter. I would prefer it to be relatively new, but doesn't have to be, with excellent art.

I also don't really read much manga (I'm reading like 5 series and haven't completed one yet.), so I know how you felt not long ago.

I heard the Claymore manga was good, so you might want to try that.
Even though it's overly popular and isn't really "action", the Death Note manga is a shonen jump title, and the manga is much better than the anime (mainly the last arc), because the anime tried to fit 6.5 volumes into the first 25 episodes and 5.5 volumes into the latter 12.
It's one of the few manga I've read and I think it's great (from a person who liked but didn't love the Death Note anime.)

I wouldn't exactly Death Note action, as much as I would call it not action.
