Strike the joints directly, that's usually how Tri disables me (not like she could use anything else considering my build).
If done at full power, you can even broke their arm or feet easily. The point is that the joints being center of movement, if disabled, then the entire limb is helpless.

No specific techniques, the essential philosophy is 'strike fast and hard'.
(though the point of less-friendly Martial arts is increasing combat efficiency, hurting enemy while keep yourself safe) As for the gun, well, your concern is having to disable the gun first (or have the enemy unhand it).

They can endure that pain and shoot you....unless you cut their tendon....
Sliverback is at the most going to appear as a movie if they are going to feature in my story..... It will give them the freedom to use any tactic against IS.... Edit: Come to think of it... human fighting IS is almost like a magical girl fighting a nerfed down Walpurgisnacht..... why? IS can float IS can take lots of hit due to energy barrier (conventional weapons are useless unless they are overpowered) IS has technology that is advance enough to be considered as magic....(I think Ichika describe it as magic in the novel) To fight IS, humans need to have technology at the same level (hence almost like magic)

@Jak
Then you need a grenade than can stick to surface and can't be easily taken off. As for approaching I.S. from the back itself was SAID to be impossible since I.S. visual sensor covered 360 degrees, yet Ichika could easily caught Rin in the back. This means that while the pilot can see in their back, the rules of peripheral visions still apply (meaning that if the pilot see what's behind them, their front side is blind). The problem is whether you can out-accelerate I.S. or not, Stealth simply is not an option considering their extensive sensor. (Then again that's if we consider Silverback being conventional and not exotic on it's own) As for familial problem, I couldn't really comment. @Eras One, super hard strike (multiple strike isn't really feasible). As for using knife, well... that's going to be lethal... EDIT: If anything, a single metal pipe can work....

Still Irish was smart and pragmatic, and being fragile speedster, not giving enemy's chance to counter is his first priority: usually by throw something first (sand, stone, rubble, hell, a beer bottle or coke can can work. Anything he could find, including unknown chemical) then strike later, or strike while throwing something, or use the environment advantage to him (such as using chair, table, stretcher)....
Seriously, Irish is supposed to be the one that fight dirty, not a knife-wielding duelist, especially if his enemies are fellow human, not I.S. (were his JK is very crucial) As for stab that knock out.... no, unless you somehow managed to strike the sternum without broke it. And your enemy will either faint or got a cardiac arrest due to incredible pain. Considering how liberal custom uniform in I.S.A. are... well, I can't think any. Probably sunglasses or hat.

@ Jak - Thanks By the way, tatoo's usually aren't allowed in school.
@ Senpai - He is a dirty fighter The original plan was for Irish to tackle him then slit his throat. Even the plane chapter has him playing extremely dirty and trying to throw her out the plane. Does Ansthesia knock someone out? Do you think glasses count as a disguise? Side note - Is giving Irish a fear of ghost's possible?

Then have him throw something at the gun, tackle him THEN kick at the sternum several times. I'd say nobody will be able to stand after that (unless the enemy in question is made of iron).
As for anesthesia, depending on what kind. What's the plan? Yes, it counts, but seriously, not effective... Side note - I dunno, but for what reason?

@ Jak - How small we talking about here?
@ Senpai - Plan was that he grabs a syringe of anesthesia since he's at a hospital. Allows for non-lethal takedown and is less of a hassle. Side note - He says you can't attack or kill a ghost so he's scared of them. This shows up later when he takes a test of courage with the rest of the cast later and he starts shivering.
