I'm surprised no one posted the first ten minutes version of the movie.

Basically it is just a prologue to the White Comet Empire arc occurring on their way back to Earth from Iscandar.
Rough translation of the sub-title is "The ark Casted Out into the Havens"

The Gamilas could have used Dessler's interplanetary ranged Dessler Cannon in response to the Flame Gun. Might have actually worked against a target not called Yamato.

Still hoping for a sooner than later release date for the film.

Hobby Link Japan has their 1/500 scale Yamato 2199 at 20% off as well as 20% the expansion kit (Which add the wings, the hanger setup that was on the 1/1000 scale kit along with all the active fighters). Thought both are on the February restock list. There Yamato is 7,840 yen and the expansion set is 2,400 yen.

AmiAmi is currently listing the 1/500 Yamato 2199 as Sold Out. They usually are 30% off but I've not dealt with them. There shipping setup seemed more expensive for some reason.

They charge when the item is avalible for them to ship. If they don't have it, they don't charge you until they do. You can have them hold stuff of up to 60 days.

However that does not take into account differences in exchange rates from when you ordered to when they have it. So if the yen went up in the next month you'd pay more for the same yen price in dollars or pounds or whatever. That can't be avoided unless you managed to find someplace that has a sale going or a low price and it was in stock presently (assuming of course the yen doesn't fall more in the next month).

An example: I ordered two Cosmo Falcon kits at the beginning of October along with two Cosmo Zero kits. The payment request for the Cosmo Zeros came at the end of October when they were released. The Cosmo Falcons didn't get a payment request until early December when those kits came out.

This also happened when I order two additional Deusula The 2nd kits after they became backordered in August. They got back in stock in November, which is when they charged for the other two kits.
