^it is and the number is pretty insane and the other books are all novel and aren't the type of books I would read or at least the first and second. The third looks a setting in snow.

That's not my point, my point is that Kamachi seems to be moving up in the world.

If you compare the names on the two rankings you could see other similar names... The Number One is still number one... Whoever he is...

well if you look at the sales of rank 1 against rank 2. It's like miles apart from 6+ millions to 3+ millions. So he can stay rank 1 for a LOOOOOOOOOOONG time.

...I've only seen a few episodes of the Live Adaptation though

If I base my impression solely on those 6 episodes, his mysteries is more about the method than who the culprit is, in fact they almost always show who the culprit is at the start.
