It's an old single that Beat Crusaders released back in December of 2003. It was released through Captain Haus Recordings, not through Sony, which may be why you weren't able to find it on their site.

it seems that the beat crusaders have a similar story to beck. any beat crusader fans here, anyone? it would be cool of they could relate to the beck story.

well, thinking about it, many other bands go through similar stuff (sans koyuki's godly singing, of course

).

I wouldn't call myself a fan in western terms. I like them enough to have 2 of their older cd's in my collection. ( foresights, all you can eat ) and hopefully soon the single girl friday.

Even though I can't understand it, in the RAW of 10 I think you get to hear a small amount of "Sister" and Koyuki's "godly" singing. He actually sounds pretty good, but I don't think its the same voice actor. On the Japanese site it lists someone from Husking Bee as the VO (voice over may-be?)

Looks like a video game is in development for beck and although it doesn't say anything about a US release it could mean the show is getting close to being licensed.

if we have to bear with this bad animation for the next 15-16 episodes (good art only comes back at the last few episodes), i don't think i'd recommend the beck anime to anyone i know. bleh.

that aside, a beck game? err....... beck is a strange choice for a game......

Innuendo, yup it was 'sister'. but i think the seiyuu was the same guy, his voice sounded the same as when he sang 'under the full moon'. but with the crappy animation and muted/paused responses of the other members of beck, you don't feel the awe that his voice creates.

Does anyone know if a Beck fansite is up yet. I've been looking for a while and can't seem to find one.

Also, on the anime encyclopedia site it said there were 25 episodes. How could this be? Didn't it just come out? I thought only 10 were out in Japan.

Anyways, I'm really glad I found this anime. It's right up there with Gankutsuou, Monster, and Bleach as one of my favotite new animes.

The budget cuts probably indicate that the anime is not well-received in Japan.

You can see the opposite in "Aishiteruze Baby", where the animation quality gradually went up as the series went along.

Pray hard the situation gets better.
