You do realize that the redhead in the second .gif above is not Shouko but one of her teachers?

And, yeah, the eye color is wrong. I'd chalk it up to an animation error.

The eyes look green in that pic though and the teacher doesn't have green eyes, Shoko does.

Or is it just a coloring mix up due to the steam?

That was Rion Nanami. The big-boobed teacher as per the discussion the girls are having. One of the animators was clearly confused though since they gave her Shoko's eye color.

It's the eyes that confused me as only Shoko has those green eyes while Rion has Yellow eyes.

The hair also confused me since that isn't Shoko's hair style, it's Rion's.

I'm guessing it was really a mess up with the eyes is all and it's supposed to be 100% Rion, not a fusion of Rion and Shoko.

Finally got around to watching the first two episodes and hot damn. This show is awesome. May well be the next "Code Geass". I can see a lot of crazy shenanigans being caused by that body swap ability. Funny how fast mr pacifist turned into "kill all of them". And Shouko's death fake out was both unexpected and awesome. Not to mention that the Valvrave itself is like the Epyon from Gundam Wing on crack.

I'm going to go out on a limp just like I did after the first 2 episodes of Code Geass and say that I'm going to love this show.

Also, thats clearly the teacher in the pool. They just got her eye color messed up. Herp Derp on the animator who colored that.

More like L-Elf is Lelouch (brains and plans), Haruto is Suzaku (aimless, possess "natural" skill).

Nice to see the role reversed though, and have the Suzaku take the center stage this time around.

L-Elf seems like he's a combination of Lelouch, Suzaku, Kallen, and C.C..

L-Elf is also totally gay for Haruto now.

Once you've been bitten you can't get Haruto out of your system!

Shoko and Saki should have Haruto bite them too.

Huh. Akira and Shoko seem to be set up for a good friendship too, hopefully neither ends up dying for the sake of drama. Saki is starting to understanding that Shoko is the Childhood Friend and may end up the Victorious Childhood Friend with Haruto! That doesn't mean Saki can't at least try even if it increases her chances of death so Shoko wins in the end anyway!
