Kind of odd reading back in November about the series being done and still reading chapters in January. Oh well story isn't in a bad place right now at any rate.

Still even in the present the Wise are serious monsters. That guy is just insanely strong and too bad Ageha couldn't take him out. Kyle really took a beating down there and protecting him was the priority. That Miroku is definitely going to be Ageha's target when the time comes. Can't imagine he didn't notice its the same ability that killed the kids in the video they watched before.

Pretty crazy series of events lately though. Getting to find out that Nemesis Q was a program. The kidnapping and huge rescue mission that came next. Now finding part of Wise but the main guy getting away. Can't wait until Ageha gets to recap all of this with the others.

Yeah I thought so too, it doesn't even feel like it's ending, though I think they're keeping the rest of the story in the present arc to finish it up.

That Miroku guy has the same eyepatched as Grana, the leader of the wise. Unless Miroku's eyepatch is just for show, they could be one in the same, even though they have different personalities.

Personally though, I'ven't thought that the latest arc was that good. It's great to see the kids in action, but the villians here(aside from Miroku) have been lacking to me, at least compared to Dholaki or Nemesis Q(well he didn't fight Q, but the idea of it). Hopefully, Miroku will make an interesting fight for Ageha.

Wonder why this manga seem to be underrated. Feel that this manga has an interesting concept(Burst, Trance, Rise). Plus the story seem to be progressing well.

Will be great if the artwork is better.

PsYЯEN is probably one of the better manga out there that is currently being serialized IMHO so I just don't understand why it's not so popular. Maybe it might be better moved to Ultra Jump or Young Jump and have a darker tone to it.

Is this REALLY supposed to be ending soon? I mean, chap 56 makes it seem like there's gonna be a good deal more story to tell, at least another 10 - 15 chaps, if not more.

Yeah I agree. It's just getting into an interesting point and doesn't seem like a place you can end it.

This was pretty important just for that last part. Theories about the future and how it can be affected have been running through my mind. The DVD changing definitely proves they can have an impact. That crazy adventure that Ageha got involved in has clearly done something here. Though since they are likely to end up going back to the future (nice movies ) they haven't done enough. Really want to know what is on that DVD after the change.

Glad Ageha remembered it was the same ability they saw on that video. Hopefully those two will have a major showdown at some point.

Also the henchmen get off fairly well here. Though they did almost do something that couldn't be undone so I can't cut them much slack. Had their reasons but doesn't mean they did the right thing. At least with the sister being healed and being saved they have reasons to cooperate. Considering the power of the WISE they need all the help they can get. Since the major battle has to be fought in the present not the future.

Just know that I'm not going to like the next chapter one little bit. Kid's managed to avoid getting taken down by that horrific tree. But now they've got to take on some massive foes that they know nothing about. Still the fact that a video they saw in the future was affected by some thing in the present is pretty crucial. There is a link between the two and changes should be possible. If the fight ends the way we expect I guess the future won't be changed that much. Whether Miroku kills the kids or someone else does the end is still the same.

Dholaki is far from a pushover and that Junas is a frightening person as well. These guys are just at a crazy level in terms of power. Considering the silence from Hiryuu on the subject I think Ageha is going to watch another tragic end. With all those swords hanging over head is there really any other option than giving up? Looking at the rankings from the future Junas being 2nd makes him far stronger than Dholaki (future 5).

Perhaps more important than how this fight ends is everything surroudning it. Now that we know actions change the future the question of where Ageha and the others are is an important one. I mean if the kids were going to face the Wise there is no way Ageha wouldn't join them. If they aren't there it has to be because they couldn't be there.

Another question is about Miroku. Where is that guy in the future? Didn't see him with the Star Commanders. Maybe he's at some sort of higher authority level than those guys. At any rate the battle of the present is the most important thing right now. They know that Dholaki and the other Wise are out there somewhere. Have to try to track them down and stop them from starting their plans. Problem is that all these guys are powerful. Beating them is not going to be easy at all.

I'm glad that this series is starting to get recognition. Out of the bottom 5 on SJ. It makes me relieved that it would probably end when the author ends it rather than a premature one.

Now that the biggest question has been asked. Why aren't they(Yoshina and crew) in the battle a year later.

It would be interesting what would happen in the next chapter. Will she die or not?

It was really interesting to see Q show up in the airport. This may well be the scenario that Oboro pointed out. Why is it that we don't see the protagonists in the videos?

I think it's too soon for the old lady to die. I thinks he still has many things to teach the kids, so Yoshina will definitely get by Q some how.

Well, the scanslation for new chapter is out. I must admit I didn't expect Nemesis Q to pull that trick off. Anod now it seems like there will be new allies in the future, too.

Can't see any way for this manga to end soon, really.

Really feel like discussing them both together. How many times do we have to watch those kids get slaughtered? Dodge one bullet only to get killed by one completely different. That Junas has an ability that will destroy you if you don't know its coming. Reacting to bursts and shattering when the opponent makes a hasty move....Talk about an annoying opponent. The Wise are just monsters all over.

It's really a tough question as to why the group isn't at the battle. Honestly the only answer I have so far is that they were killed in a trip to the future by the Wise. I mean if they had been badly timed taken to the future that might explain it. But would their cards still have room to send them? Besides if the group was temporarily missing I'm not sure the kids would be so foolish as to go after the Wise. Sure Granny isn't there, but even they would wait for Ageha and fight with him. Have to believe he isn't going to be there. Besides the Wise are on the lookout for the group so makes sense that they could get taken out.

A better question is why Matsuri and Hyoudou aren't there? Hyoudou in the first video makes sense since he was probably killed during the attempt to capture those crooks. I can't imagine he would sit by while those guys tried to take over. Matsuri should know what's going on so why she isn't there is even stranger in my mind.

Only so much one video can tell us. Plus we probably won't find out about the Granny for a few chapters. They are probably going to focus on a major issue they have during this trip and only find out the woman's fate after they get back.

IMHO it's easily possible to wrap up any manga at any point given about four or five chapters, mostly by going for an open ending. Still, apart from one poster coming forward three months ago and saying "it'll be over by the end of the month" without providing any quotes, scans, or other evidence as backup, I haven't seen any indication that Psyren is ending anytime soon. So I will believe that this manga is still continuing serialization until someone comes forward and proves it to be otherwise.

Anyone else thinking Judas will be showing up? First of all we just seen the video about his power and what he can do. Secondly, they showed Judas getting up, ready to act, after Dholki came back injured from the Ashina fight.

i wonder how they will defeate the teleportation power. that will be hard to deal with. also apart from miya non of them are really ready to have a full battle against one of the commmanders by them selves. when Yoshina faced off against Dholaki he still needed time to set everything up in his favour.

this would be a good time for Tatsuo to show up and compleate the Dragon

in a way i'm pretty psyched about this battle against dholaki and the other starcommander,but on the other hand this might be a sign of rushing and thus putting the ending of psyren in sight and i don't really want it to end at all in this stage.

is the manga really going to end. i read all of it yesterday and became a fan overnight. i can't belive they would want to end it. it has so many possibilities. the way the story line could go is on so many different directions. and that is one of the best things about it.

also the powers of the main characters could also be a way to go. the way they evolve and become better. as well as the villens and what there storylines could be.

really the possibilities for the storyline is very big. also there are not a lot of mangas dealing with time-travel(none come to mind instentainsly) and the course of the present and the future being linked.

why would something like this end?

TBH i still don't know the reason MxO ended??
