Photoshop problem

Does someone know how to select only the lines of a pensil sketch?
You see, i draw a lot, and i'm starting to get good at it, but my inking skills aren't very good yet, and i don't want to wreck the original, so i wanted to scan it in and make the lines lightblue.
That way i can print the lightblue version and inkt that one, and scan it again when it's finished, because lightblue doesn't get picked up by a scanner.

The selecting had something to do with an alpha channel, i did it once a long time ago, and forgot how to do it :P

Here is the drawing on which i tried to do it, but failed :P
It's not cleaned up because i wanted to ink it.

btw, how do i do the spoiler button thingie? :P

Sorry I can't help on the main question but here is how you use the spoiler tag

[spoiler]text hidden insdie spoiler[/spoiler]

gives you this

Spoiler:

And you can add a "title" to the spoiler tag.

[spoiler=Example subject line]text hidden insdie spoiler[/spoiler]

gives you this

Spoiler for Example subject line:

BTW, if you intend to "hide" images inside spoilers then please be aware the entire image is downloaded even if the spoiler tag is never opened (in other words it doesn't save bandwidth if you place images inside spoilers). It doens't mean you can't, it's just that if you want to save bandwidth it's best to use a URL tag insted of an IMG tag.

First of all, you need to increase the contrast of your picture :

Then, you can extract the image following this tutorial:

Hope this helps.
