One of the problems of a slow wit, is that thoughts about events in the past catch up with the brain sometimes much later. I went back to check the sections where Nagi was "intimate" with the girls, and in each case (including Mike), there was an "electric" reaction on the part of the one on the receiving end. Cheap manga cliche' aside, D'ya think Shizue got some of that? Or is that just manga lovin'?
And do you think that any female who knows his secret wants some "favor"?

Well, as a person who has experienced the "electric" reaction myself, it can happen even in non-sexual situations. I don't doubt the use of such a thing being told in story if the author may have had their own experience of it. But it doesn't seem to be a widely used thing in many stories, but there are occasions it has.

As for Shizue getting something like that during her two encounters with Nagi... well 3 if you count them as the first bath scene, then the talk, and this last chapter's final panels of all them naked once again, maybe. Perhaps not nearly as strong as what Soyogi was experiencing, but she probably gets that feeling when close to Soyogi rather than Nagi. Though, I think it's quite hilarious that Shizue got naked again for her second shower scene with Soyogi and Nagi.

Gotta say though, Shizue's way of coping with such a reality is unique. I'm actually quite envious of Nagi that he can not only poke Soyogi (if she wants to try again), but he can also poke Shizue as well, as a kind of temporary mistress of Soyogi's. What's to come should be either quite erotic, or humorous, or romantic... depending on what happens next.

The picture showing which maiden would go first second and third was so funny and descriptive it didn't need any explanation. Shizuku was ready to climb the walls after two days without seeing Nagi. After the chaos of the last two days Nagi is sure to appreciate a little domestic peace and quiet. Of course, being a teenage boy maybe the chaos had its own shapely attractions.
Next chapter we should see how Nagi and Shizuku get along in the sexual compatibility field. That is at least if they don't just sleep through their whole day together.

Yeah, this is what I thought would happen. After Karen's and Soyogi's persistent sex attempts, Shizu having Nagi relax would be most considerate of her to do. The only thing about this though is that it doesn't give her a chance to truly express her feelings. In stories like these, sex is like the ultimate deal breaker to truly show the depths of one's love. If they don't do anything sexual, it blocks the chance of her to reveal these feelings in the same vain as Karen and Soyogi.

The chapter is permeated with peace. Nice use of space, distance, and closeness to present the emotions.

This arc will have to let Shizuku draw closer to Nagi's heart by quelling the turmoil there. (Also a cute reference to the hardest-working cat on the Island.

)
