I don't think she even knows what sexuallity is, but those scenes do NOT make her bi sexual, she needed water, any kind of it. It was just a poor excuse for some yuri tones. =\

. And yes, Latias kissed Satoshi. By this time, Satoshi might as well build a harem of Pokemons since some of them are clearly smitten by him

(Chikorita, Latias, and more).

Back on topic: Speaking of mermaids, for those who well-versed with everything Monster Girls, do the mermaids also have heavenly voice like in the legends?

Yes, they have voices that allow them to charm men. They are hopeless romantics and believe in a destiny meeting with their "prince"...yet use their voices to set up these meetings xD

... I doubt the author would go for the classic fairy tale, not unless he turns this light-hearted harem into a dark psychological drama

However, for a single chapter focused on her just to return to the status quo at the end, why not? The author eventually has to come up with some crazy plot devices once he cannot introduce any more girls.

That's actually a fun idea for a chapter...

For one day (one chapter) the monster girls have some sort of spell cast on them and turn into perfectly normal human girls.

Or the opposite...

For one day the MC turns into a monster and starts giving into primal urges, the girls are not amused.

I dunno...if he turns violent and primal he'll be pretty much the opposite of what they fell in love with and if TLR has taught me anything about shounen harems is that something like this would be a turn off for the girls (or most of them).

Why not both? For one day the girls lose their animal features and to some degree transfer them to the MC, introducing some weird chimera-like hybrid creature. Or he could simply become the male version of each of the girls' species for some time.
