If I have time, I might try for a dark ink black and white kind of picture. Any suggestions on scenes to try?

That seems rather blood thirsty for Kyonko, Assuming that Haruki does something on the level that Haruhi did in the original. I mean, Haruki smacking Mitsuru on the back of his head is hardly grounds for wanting to maim Haruki.

Haruki just getting into an arguement with Kyonko (From Haruki's POV, he doesn't know she's thinking this) doesn't seem like it would be capable of making Haruki "To depressed to be frustrated" like Haruhi was described as being in the Novel by Koizumi. I don't think the scene just doesn't come off a credible if Kyonko doesn't hit Haruki.

About the to-hit or not to-hit debate here. There are alot of valid points on why contact should be made. We should compare how both scenes would look like the original scene in the novel, if we see that it pulls off the same effect than either one should be fine right?
