Well I certainly would never get them, but that's because I would never be able to get them past Mrs. ES without a HELL of a lot of explaining.

Part 2 of the Chieftain's Hatch on the JagdPanzer 38t.
Momo is shorter than the Chieftain. Oh, and... 1/40000 scale, so it's a foot long. Last edited by Gravitas Free Zone; 2013-11-29 at 20:39. |

The game looks whack. I just wished it was developed by Sega and the game played like Valkrya Chronicles.

The Sentai BD's method of replacing the Katyusha song scene, versus cutting it out entirely... hmm. Seeing all of Pravda's force is good, but the music needed more heft.
My opinion is probably colored by knowing what the original is supposed to be, though. On the other hand, when they put in the clean EDs... they put in all of them. Nineteen minutes with every variant. Though it seems that the Pz38t's missing barrel from the St. Gloriana fight was never fixed. |

Wait, they actually removed a scene from the Sentai BD version or did they cut out the song in the dub version? |

Interestingly, there are actually changes animation-side, such as removal of lip movement.

The animation changes to replace the vocals keep the wide shots of the tanks, but remove the shots that show Katyusha and Nonna singing, only keeping the brief frames where their mouths aren't moving (and it looks like those got stretched out a bit). The whole scene is a bit shorter as a result. The scenes with Polyushke Polye and the Katyusha instrumental in the next episode are handled similarly to what you may have already seen on Crunchyroll (in the case of the latter, it's exactly the same audio change), but those are much easier since there's no diegetic singing in those. |

If you watch the Sentai BD/DVD, you will not have the pieces at all, in either language. "Katyusha" and "Polyushke Polye" cannot be broadcast at all in the USA without more licensing negotiations than apparently Actas and Sentai are likely to be involved in, so they're edited out.
If you purchased the Japanese BDs from Japan last year, you would see the original scenes... because they weren't intented for US release. |

What?! Screwed that! That's like one of the most celebrated scene in the entire show and the one I was looking forward to the most, and they removed it?
I'm glad I found this out sooner before my copy arrived, I'm just going to refuse my shipment and return it for a full refund along with everything else that came with it. I simply cannot stand this at all! |
