I picked it up about a week ago, and i gotta say i LUUUUUV it.
The childr... Middle schoolers don't get as much love on this forum as they'd need, or so it seems to me =/
Does it atleast good in the mag it's running in? (Shounen Sunday iirc?) What are the estimates for this series length? judging by how much possible development there is, and no real major arcs (smth going past 10 chaps) have been set yet (PANDRA vs BABEL or BABEL / PANDRA vs PHANTOM) there seems plenty of room for another, good 200 chapters atleast

It's in flashback mode at the moment and since I'm not a big fan of Hyobu I'm just mildly paying attention to it now...

Combined with the fact that the scanlators seem to be having problems getting the RAWS or something, which translates into slow releases

It has been a blast though. The last arcs have been a little slow, but there are many plot elements hanging around that makes this a compelling read, just to see whether the mangaka will finally get to solve some of them.

Nah, it's not an issue with the RAWs, ( always on time ) but rather an issue with the translator.

js06 is an amazing translator who's both extremely fast and accurate... but even he is just one mortal man. By working on so many translation projects, ZKC's up-to-date-ness isn't exactly the same as it was back when ZKC had daily releases.

Just hopped onto this bandwagon.. I have to say, I'm impressed by this series. I didn't expect too much and was bored..catching up was a great experience

Yeah, I'd say it's one of the more underrated shounen series out there.

I agree this is easily one of the best Sunday mangas of the last few years and a good shonen overall.

Can't believe how much Shiina's style changed compared with GS Mikami.

Feather's identity confirmed. She really is the Queen of Catastrophe from the bad future. Also the final villain of the whole story seems to be Yuuri's replacement in Black Phantom.

This manga is getting better and better. Definitely needs more love.

It wasn't hard to tell. It's no coincidence that Feather looks like a grown up Kaoru despite being the having the ability to shapeshift.

I also like how Shiina incorporates the 4komas into the main story. Kyousuke. asking for help removing the bomb was actually brought up several chapters back in the 4koma.

Also, I think I see a death flag for Kyousuke. He dies trying to take out Black Phantom on his own, leaving Kaoru to take charge.

All that's confirmed is that Minamoto suspects it. She said she had memories that couldn't be Kaoru. So she's either some kind of fusion, or got those memories through some kind of mental power.

Or she's really Kaoru. The reason why she's called the Queen is because her psychic power excels in all areas, including telepathy and psychometery. Even the current Kaoru was able to sense the surgery going on far away.

Mostly just to throw this out here... I'm probably going to wait a few more years (yes, years, not weeks or months) for this series to finally come to an end before I pick it back up; that way, I can be prepared for the highly possible Bad End (or hey, we might get lucky for a Good End). But, this is where one should apply the anime/manga saying, "they're not dead until you see the corpse". We only see the shot, not what happens after... is it quite possible that Feather had managed to find a way to travel back in time after the shot in order to prevent that from happening?
