In my view, Campione is all about the small fun details. One could easily point out who fights who in each volume and the outcomes, but that's not very interesting.

As for fun details, I liked how the author expressed the heroines' personalities through their cellphone usage.

One of the most popular uses of a cellphone for high school students, was to send text messages to communicate with friends.

But amongst the people close to Godou, none of them made use of this function effectively.

Take Erica Blandelli for example, who preferred to chat directly over the phone rather than texting. On the other hand, Liliana Kranjcar loved to write letters. The day she arrived in Japan, she proposed to Godou "from now on I can send you regular reports by letter three... no, six times daily... may I...?" But Godou refused with caution.

As for Mariya Yuri, she probably didn't even know how to send a text.

When she first began to use a cellphone, Godou had taught her briefly how to use it, but so far, he has never received a single text message under her name. If that's the case, what was going on with this current text message?

Titled "Can we meet tomorrow?" The sender was "Mariya Yuri."

And of course, we know that Ena doesn't even always put a battery when she's using her phone...

I remember reading this part in the novel and I was thought it was an interesting way to develop the plot by using a very strange text very uncharacteristic of "Yuri". Agreed that the small things are just as important, can't really describe how good this series or any volumes is through summaries.

I'm a fire troll, so you must treat me to some ice cream instead! Until I overeat and explode... from a last spoon of, what was it, peppermint ice cream?

And I wrote the summaries back then to get people interested and start discussions. The latter didn't really work though, people just wanted more spoilers... and I also noticed how the spoilers don't do the novels justice. It's so much more thrilling if you're reading the novels blind. Since people still asked for spoilers, I "had to" start writing misleading, yet true answers, before others spoil all of it *whistle* ("Kadi - A troll coming clean")

You're making me blush... but truth be told, writing those "obvious" trolls and the other misleading ones is fun for me, too, so it all works out, doesn't it? (As an added bonus, it's all true)
