I just find it somewhat amusing to see that the Picture Drama is already available but nobody has bothered to release the teaser trailer for the new project. I guess people have their own preferences and all, in addition to simply being whimsical, but still.

Share it, then we will see it.
That is how it works. Me? I just move stuff around because I have a habit of doing stuff like that. Off topic annoys me... Meh... even though I do participate in it. I just want to know about Black Jet Renya the most -- the black haired guy is still haunting me. I want to know his role - his name.... But damn. not a scrap of information. |

Consider that the post in question treats both seasons as completely separate products (one was licensed before the other) and that neither the Code Geass: Kiseki no Birthday special nor any of its contents have been licensed...you'd have to make a pretty big leap in order to assume that they fall under those guidelines. Much less a teaser trailer for yet another project, such as Code Geass Gaiden: Bokoku no Akito, that doesn't even exist right now. At least until someone with authority says otherwise, we are talking about two additional, distinct licenses covering those products. Not to mention that I am not asking for download links or anything of the sort, if you notice what I've actually written. It's simply a rhetorical comment regarding why that teaser trailer isn't available yet. It doesn't go against those guidelines, even if you assume that they apply. now what about the clip for the side story? also, Bandai licensed R1 and R2 as separate works, not the whole franchise, so i don't think this stuff would apply. |

I'm glad you agree, because he basically is. He fits where a good deal of the characters screw up. The most famous one is where he prevent's Euphie's massacre. The one he did the least amount of fixing and more fate changing was JLF route.
Now then.... I think Akito will be an actual short series. (maybe) Or it will actually expand on the war with the EU in greater detail, hell we might get a debut from Cornelia and Schneizel, which is rather probable if you think like that. My hope: "God bless you".... >_> |

So the fated day has arrived. I don't know, I'm a bit torn. I want to see them pursue Code Geass as a franchise, but I think there's like zero possibility of me being able to be on the internet during it while trying to watch and hopefully enjoy the show at the same time. The lame mass trolling that is all but inevitable is just going to make the forum experience an intolerable one and it will probably manage to affect discussions for other shows too simply because of the franchise's absurd level of popularity and ability to inspire extreme immature and unrestrained emotion in the viewers who will do god knows what and god knows where when let loose with new material.
I'm thinking a one shot OVA or release schedule like that for Gundam Unicorn is the only way this and other forums don't become another weekly shit show. Keep the episodes spaced out, let the trolling be a quick affair upon the initial release, 2 months later I watch the episode, 5 months later the next one is out, cycle starts again. |

Let's hope the most immature users are permanently banned, Kaioshin-sama. While I would like a short series or just an OVA, I do hope at least somewhat for the Code Geass franchise to expand beyond Lelouch and his world/era.
When I think about success of the anime in general, it boils down to how they do the ending -- R2's ending was somewhat unsatisfactory in my eyes, and so I hope they keep the characters and keep everything in logic. (Or as logical as a world with a strange power and enigmatic ruins can be.) If anything, I want them to expand beyond the horizon and see if they can hold well without Lelouch or any of the other characters. I want to see more adventure, new geass, and good storyline. All and all, I want to see a 'new' Code Geass, and I won't hold my breath... Considering Lelouch of the Rebellion is still going strong. I just really do hope the stupidity here is kept to a minimum. At least until the translation project is completed -- talking about the game, I wouldn't be surprised if they made new games as a result of the Code Geass projects. Though that may be wishful thinking. |
