[Anime] Episode 46: Human Transmutation

Well, this one is a brilliant episode...

...poor Al gets tricked by Tucker into performing HT and the end result is a Nina, or what looks like her, though it didn't seem all that successful. Tucker better get his comeuppance soon, the sick bast....ahem.

Lust has turned against the Humonculus. YES!!! She skewered Wrath right through the forehead after he tried to kill her. Looks like she's going to help Ed and Al now that there's no way back for her but Ed has still got the tricket with her hair just in case.

Envy's back (from where though?) and boy was he was pissed about Dante's true intentions. He even knocked down Pride in his rage But the biggest revelation was Envy's temper, he was punching craters in the ground. We haven't seen that kind of power from any of the Humonculus before. He's surely going to be the hardest to beat.

Looks like that wierd town by the huge cavern is actually under the Military HQ, there seems to be a whole different world under there.

Archer is definately alive, and has clearly gone mad. He's locked in a cell somewhere. Future movie villain perhaps?

Also it seems like a piece of Al disappears whenever he uses the Stones power..? That's what it looked like at the end. Hm, a few series ending consequences there perhaps..

Yep, she doesn't have the chimera markings and looks more like her original self.

To give Tucker some credit he didn't set the trap on behalf of the Humonculus, but seemed to do it purely to create Nina...doesn't redeem his original act of cruelty though.

Yea I predicted that lust would do that on a previous episode thread ......I did not want that to happen though

so Dante will most likely take care of the rest of the sins

...if Tucker can create an empty body lacking (or requiring) a soul, perhaps Al's body can be created that way then Ed can affixed his soul back to the body. But will they be tempted to do that?

I think it's far too late to call back her soul, anyhow.

I like the fact that each episode leaves a new fact, a new shocking event, and always keep fans hungry for more. I would never expect that

Al lost a part of his metal after performing alchemy, sloth likely to be dead in the next episode, and archer to be alive. Never did I even guess that the underground of the office of fuhrer is home to dante and the homunculus' headquarters too..

Now in every episode, it always seems that more deaths are coming. I really didn't want Ed's father to be dead, I wish he wasn't dead. Just like I still could not accept Hughes' death. However, according to Dante, I guess he's really dead for sure.

So did anyone catch that conversation Ed had with Wrath after his automail got broken? Can Ed transmute his hand back or will he need to see Winry again?

And what ever happened to the whole visit with Izumi looking for a part of her dead child. If he actually got something, why didn't he use it on Wrath?

I don't think he understands enough about automail construction/operation to acutally make a functional hand.

He didn't get anything. Izumi apologized for "not being any help."

hmmm..if tucker made a doll version of nina, all al needs to do is get the soul of nina back to the doll like body of nina....but if ed knew about this...he wood get tucker to make a doll like version of al, then al cood transmute his soul into the doll like body created by tucker...but as mentioned by dante or hohenheim, it'll use up part of al, since he's the philosophers stone, and overall make him like dante and hohenheim, who's bodies and souls are rotting

as long as Al don't keep transferring his soul again and again to keep living beyond human limit, I don't think his soul or body will start rotting.
