Well, the live action movie has hit a production snag. The director they originally hired left the production due to creative differences and the project is on hold now. The manga is extremely popular in Japan though, so that should definitely help the anime in terms of awareness.

Hmm should I read the manga I been forceing myself not to read it because I knew something as good as it would get a truly good anime. The trailer alone looked like a visual eye feast.

since at this point we don't really know whether this anime will faithfully adapt the manga or it will just turn out as another magi

but assuming it does faithfully adapt the manga, reading the manga will give you better understanding of character names and plot since there will be a lot of details provided in the manga and I doubt it will be all included in the anime.

but for the sake of the plot twist, why don't just enjoy the first few episodes first before read the manga

I've been itching to re-read the manga as well since I already forgot most of the minor events and character name, especially after big revelations in the past few chapter of the manga...but well, I will just wait until the anime air

don't worry, the culprit for the failure of Magi is not found in the staff list.

I also can't wait to experience the first few chapters of story again, this time in anime form. With the latest reveal hopefully the director is aware of the key frames that need to be included.

Just one random question, I want to confirm something. Who animated that fighting scene from Blood-C ep 12, and that amazing one from an early episode of Seirei no Moribito (ep 2 I think)

I caved in and read threw every chapter it was worth it

Man haven't been this lost in trying to figure where a plot is going since early gantz before it turned into borderline twilight. Tho the main characters so far are more safe here.

I'm pretty sure it's Tetsuya Nishio that did that scene in ep12.

Kobayashi Mika singing an amazing insert song again? Thank you based Sawano.

And I was expecting a more meaty PV but I guess they want to keep the surprise since the episode is less than a week away now.

Very great trailer. Also looks like shingeki is 1 cour. First volume lists 2 episodes so unless future volumes add more episodes it'll be 12 episodes.

it's pretty usual the first volume to contain less episodes than the others (if not there would just be 24 episodes anime)
in this case my bet is 26 episodes
